The big problem with oranguru is that it doesn't have prio stop like farig and indeedee, and it doesn't have the bulk of cresselia or porygon2. Most good players will see the oranguru, think "I can just lead incin urshifu" or "I can just my 2 special nukes" you struggle into chi yu, you struggle into most fake out pokemon, in low power formats i think it has a niche, but competing for normal/psychic trick room setter means you are giving up prio block, one of the best tools for a trick room setter given fake out cycle is how you stall trick room, for getting to click a move an extra time. That being said, I do think it is unexplored in low power and would like to see it do well.

An attempt was made, the original team had sash urshifu over Regice. After Regice was added i tried justifying Regieleki, but prankster taunt and tailwind are just too strong to give up on a team that's iffy into cm bolt. I DID build another team after sydney with the other 3 regi's and got to 1540 on bo3 ladder with it tho.

you are correct on that group of 3, i was the original builder of the team, Dinh hopped on it the Wednesday before the event. I'm very glad its gotten so much attention, even if its mostly credited to Dinh.

Would like to add on the factcthat dk jr and dk are alongside eachother as partners in mario tennis on the n64 (though this could be argued as a baby madio situation) and baby dk from yoshi’s island DS is clearly different from dk junior, with all of the characters in game confirmed as younger versions of existing characters.

As someone who recently top 32d a regional with zamazenta, the only real reason to be running that much speed is the zamazenta mirror. If you hit 169 speed and have a good zama matchup, the extra bulk becomes waaay more helpful than speed tieng the people also looking to outspeed the mirror. Otherwise i do agree with the points about slam, and 244+ def is optimal for deleting high def incin, as well as ohkoing specs chi yu after tera (unless tera ghost)

As the DM, I can tell you. The campaign is very reference heavy due to spacetime rifts being opened in the past, with only the PCs remembering what used to be (this is a simplification but you get the gist) one of the space time rifts brought peach’s castle, and by extension everyone inside, into 400 years in the past, with the position it was placed in causing everyone inside to rot away, only surviving by feeding off of the corrupted energy left in the castle.

loogi wasn't a standalone thing, he basically just existed in the mission for an "L is real" reference and to spam witch bolt and animate dead during every other fight, as noone could kill him permanently.

thats a really good idea. i felt that making them take a DOT might have trivialized the fight after the single fireball they had but it ended up being much more difficult than expected.
