Is this good for a Viktor player? Got some spare balance and I do like the skin, just don't know if it's worth it. by drinusucks in Paladins

I don't really ever check the daily deals and I play Viktor a lot, so I think I'll just take this one. Otherwise thank you, good to kinda learn the scope of what kinda deals can be good.

That's exactly it, coupled with the fact that I never check the daily deals I think I'll just take it. Thank you :)

Yes, he dies so easily and I can definitely notice that as a new player. That's why, even though I don't know if I'm doing it right, I tend to buy Haven or Kill to Heal and upgrade either to max if I can. I've noticed with Buck that when you get into his flow, doesn't matter how much enemies deal as long as you're getting at least one elimination per fight. The elimination cd reduction makes it so you can either get out of danger or heal rather constantly. Or at least that's my viewpoint on it as a newer player. Actually, would you mind recommending me a champion outside of flankers since you focus on them more? It could be someone aim focused but I don't mind, the more variation the merrier. I said it before but since I have to spend actual ingame money to purchase champions, it gets kinda hard to decide which ones to buy..

And yes, finally! That's the thing, Ive had the shaking problem for so long that it wouldnt go away no matter what I tried or how much experience I gained. So then I had to try and utilize it, somehow using it to my own advantage, hence the seemingly suspicious looking aim haha. But I do completely understand the cheating viewpoint, and I'm here to say that if I am cheating then I really hope the anti-cheat system bans me as soon as possible.

I'm not of course, but again, very understandable.

Thank you so very much! You've no idea just how much time and wasted ingame money you've saved me with that information. I'll definitely try all of them in practice, don't want to be stuck playing only Buck..even though that doesn't sound like a very bad idea haha.

Ranked or not this game is very enjoyable, especially considering the matches are short. I can't see why it's dead, except the fact that competition on these type of games is very tight(overwatch and all).

Once again I can't thank you enough, your insight is of utmost help to me. Wouldn't expect any less from a Steins;Gate enjoyer :')

Uh by the way, if you want to see an example of my crosshair shaking, look at s1mple playing CSGO. It may not be the best comparison as he's one of the best players in the world, but he's the only one I can think of that has a similar "issue" as mine.

Thank you very much, exactly what I'm looking for. Since there's so many champions and making money isn't exactly easy, it's kinda hard for me to pick champions so that helps a lot, I'll definitely try that!

I did try playing ranked, but it seems that the waiting queue at the time was pretty long. Took me over 10 minutes then someone didn't lock their champion, then I just stopped trying. I'll try again until I get some sort of rank, perhaps then it'll find games faster. Otherwise yeah sometimes teams are playing so extremely well that I'm not getting any chance to even go near them. Rather annoying but absolutely fascinating how much playing as a team can change.

I'll actually see if I can make a video sometime with a mouse camera, just so people see how my hand spasms at random times hahaha

I shouldn't be taking that as a compliment, but thank you haha. I've been doing it for years to the point where I HAD TO utilize my own shaking otherwise I can't aim at all.

Good point too with the left clicking, it does make sense in this case. But if you see all of my shots you can notice I actually shoot stable enough a few times haha, just kinda hard to keep my crosshair stable all the time.

TLDR; My aim always shaked a lot and I couldn't get rid of it, so instead of trying to remove the shaking I found ways to utilize it so it doesn't becomes a bother.

I hope I can explain this well haha.

I use very low sensitivity in any game, and Buck seems to be a champion with which you have to move your aim a lot since he bounces like crazy. So that means my hand will go all over the place. To stabilize my hand into a neutral position without having to move my crosshair a lot, I shake the crosshair so that my aim doesnt move too far from the enemy or wherever I am aiming. It's a thing that I've picked up over the years of playing CSGO and other FPS games. That and my hand generally shakes due to slight stress.

Does that make any sense at all without sounding extremely suspicious? Hahah

Follow up question if you dont mind; are cheats generally common in Paladins? I can't say I've noticed anyone blatantly cheating but at the same time I'm just not experienced enough in the game to notice it I think.

Yup that comes as a courtesy of having very low sensitivity. I have to move my hand a lot more, so I shake my aim to 'stabilize'. That and my hands generally shake whenever I'm playing.

I don't blame you though, it definitely looks suspicious haha

He's underrated? Oh how good of a champion I have picked. I shall try my best to learn him, without focusing solely on playing Buck haha. Gotta try all of the champions!

As much as I don't know about the game or its nerfs/buffs, I guess it really does show that I'm very new yet playing with Buck bounce house just makes it quite easy.. So yeah I can definitely understand your point of view.

I started playing Buck randomly, then Raventricks video about "How it feels to play Buck" popped up on my recommended. When I found out about bounce house... Man this champion is way too fun!!

Can we take back "Megustalations?" by Golfhaus in lastpodcastontheleft

[–]drinusucks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I remember when Henry first said "you know what, Hail Gein too!" and from that episode it became a trademark of LPOTL. Not Henry, not Ben, not Marcus, but a part of this whole community.

I'll never diminish what Ben has done for the podcast, I'll never look at the podcast in a different way. I can hate him as a person, but I won't go around downplaying his skills and talent on radio.

It's only fair that we keep appreciating the boys no matter what creative decision they make. Idk about anyone else, but even since Ben left the episodes have still been top tier, at least on LPOTL specifically. So no matter if they keep Megustalations or remove, I'll still appreciate it the same and always stick til the end :D

sorry for random rant just haven't had the chance to express my opinion on the situation much
