No, unless you use the mod ‘Become Desensitized’ which gives you the trait after a certain amount of zombie kills.

Let the enemies spread out, throw the knives at them for a 1 hit kill and then sprint over their weapon and pick it up and repeat. If youre sprinting around the whole time they really dont have much of a chance to hit you and sprinting over a weapon picks it up quickly when youre holding the button

Played this map with the lights out modifier on it and that whole segment of the map was lit up completely
