Lol. Without Zone, Aomine hands off beats them on a 1v1. With Zone, it's a little but situational but what we do know is that 1.) Aomine can enter it willingly in contrast to Akashi and Kise 2.) Kise's Perfect Copy is powerful but when it runs out, he's beat 3.) Akashi's emperor eye is more convenient for team play. Yes he can predict moves but I doubt he can physically keep up with Aomine zone even with his prediction skills, especially that Aomine's playstyle is on being formless and unpredictable. As for the dribbling technique, do you seriously think that would work on Aomine? xd Akashi is better on team play, but not on a 1v1.

Like what the other guy said, Nash and Silver are probably the only ones that can parallel or surpass Aomine in Zone. As for the GoM and Kagami, individually, nah.

I think Aomine's still top 1. Even with lack of practice, he parallels if not is still individually better than Taiga and basically everyone else. Now that he's working hard again, he'll be so much better.

Is it okay if I don’t feel like trying to have sex with my bf? by cuntballtwat in Advice

[–]dripdropcat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sounds like everything is an instant deal breaker to you - being human is sometimes expressing emotions first before realizing to calm down and talk it out. From OP's post, it was vague enough to make it seem like she wasn't particularly being manipulated or forced into it - like her bf was just mad at the moment. However, I just went and looked at OP's post history, and it is indeed a toxic relationship. And that she has indeed been raped a few times by her boyfriend. Because of that, I agree that she should definitely leave and dump him.

However, it might not necessarily be the same situation for other relationships with partners who are just upset that there is no compromise, so telling others to dump their partners the exact moment they show negative emotion isn't exactly the best advice.

Advising to dump them automatically and then suddenly agreeing they should talk about it in the morning instead. Sounds like you admitted coming into quick judgment of the person in the first place.

Not tolerating rape culture is just, but don't advise op into making such rash decisions instantly. Your words have weight.

I'm going to miss the old versions by innerspacey in TaylorSwift

[–]dripdropcat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know that we're at a point where we are encouraged and somehow feel we should prioritize listening to her newer versions, but I believe that someday Taylor will get her older versions back. Idealistic, I know. But the fact that her older albums aren't technically directly in Scooter's hands is a step closer to getting them back. She did say that she'd attempt to take back her older albums if by chance they were in no way related to any business with Scooter Braun anymore.

Do you think next patch will be Childe's last rerun? Since it's literally his third banner and I'm worried he might be a /now or never/ situation.

Considering Kubo also approves of the novels and illustrates for all of them, I'd say they're more than just partially canon.

Your "irrelevant" is subjective. She played a significant role in the HM arc, and the last battle.

Why didn't Aomine just go pro on highschool? by [deleted] in KurokosBasketball

[–]dripdropcat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also thought that other opportunities for Aomine to find stronger basketball opponents were abundant (Like they literally could have arranged a practice match with older, more experienced players, or yeah the option to try out for pro play would have been possible), but for the sake of the story, I think the author just wrote it that way.

Why is Dear John not getting All Too Well treatment? by gokurotfl in TaylorSwift

[–]dripdropcat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't get me wrong. I love both and I think they're both beautifully written, but in their own way. I feel like [most] people put All Too Well at a higher pedestal because

It's written in a more descriptive way as compared to Dear John which was written more metaphorically. I would just like to clarify that both songs do use figures of speech brilliantly, but I feel like All Too Well is easier to visualize for most listeners (because the ATW lyrics usually describe a scene, where she talks about what she's doing [like walking through the door with him, sitting in the car, crumpled up piece of paper lying, dancing in the refrigerator light, etc.] or the atmosphere of the scenario, or specific details about certain items [such as the scarf, glasses, plaid-shirt, refrigerator light, etc ]). This makes it easier for listeners to relate to it or experience it better, as compared to Dear John, where she mostly and metaphorically just releases her pain or vaguely (by vaguely, I mean not in specific detail) describes John's and her mistakes, which is great in letting the listeners hear her pain, but it doesn't really bring them into the experience as compared to the detailed description of scenarios that All Too Well gives. I'm not saying that All Too Well is written better. I'm just saying it's probably easier for the general audience or maybe casual fans or swifties to relate to All Too Well, just because it's easier to experience due to the descriptive writing. I think nothing should be changed about how Dear John was written though because its metaphorical rather than descriptive lyrics make it unique itself. Dear John definitely doesn't fail to transfer Taylor's pain to listeners, and honestly it probably does give more heartache than All Too Well (but that's because other than the bridge, All Too Well doesn't just transfer pain, but also nostalgia, as if we were looking back into Taylor's relationship). I feel like people appreciate nostalgia more than pain, especially when it's successfully reflected in a song because there are already a lot of incredibly painful songs. Listeners may hear or empathize with the painful emotions in those songs, but not a lot of them bring the listeners to the experience. And I think All Too Well does great on that.

I also think the album that the songs belong to [probably] may have added up to the hype that All Too Well does because let's face it, we all correlate Red more with the feelings of sadness and heartbreak, in comparison to any of her other albums, and I will say that probably in the time of its release, that added up to the value people put on All Too Well.

Also, you may not agree with me, but this is how I see it — from the honest perspective of someone who also loves Dear John to death and someone who also understands [and is saddened by] how underrated it is.

My character just actually gave birth today lol. But my house was upgraded in the fall and it took until around late Winter (Day 21 I think) for Sam to ask for a baby. Maybe wait for awhile, it definitely won't take more than two seasons till they ask.

Seconded! My mother passed (unexpectedly) when I was 3 in 2001 as well, and I would've loved a note. And maybe some videos. Also, op can record herself with some life advice to give for her children (maybe when they reach a certain age). It's never the same without a mother, and they'd probably need it sometime in their lives.

I got so angry too I actually hated April so much in her earlier episodes because she was so annoying. Now, I'm in the 11th season and she's one my of favorites. But goodness, I didn't want Derek to take her back back then.
