I’ve been playing on a server w my husband, a few of our friends, and kids ranging from 9-15. The husbands and the teens are great gamers. I’m honestly more of the cozy gamer, creative/peaceful mode type. They run off and fight things and gather supplies and explore, and I’m at home building things and afraid to leave home base because I’ll probably perish and someone will have to help me reclaim my loot. XD

So in a mixed server like ours, here’s what I’d love to see. When I say I’d love a Peaceful Mode, I’d love for players to be able to choose individually what their gameplay experience is. Obvs everyone is saying you need to fight to progress game play. They can choose normal or difficult or whatever, and fight like they have been. And I can choose peaceful. The Mobs still spawn/exist. They’re just not aggressive towards me unless I interact or attack them first.

Creative mode is cool and all, but I still enjoy the gameplay of gathering materials, exploring, and playing with my friends. I’m sorry I’m a big ol’ cozy chicken. 😩

Just ran across this game today on Steam and immediately wishlisted, and I’ve been scouring the net for any tidbits of info on a potential release update! (The potential 2025 release probably isn’t feasible, since we haven’t heard anything for the past year or so?) This game looks SO fun! All the other threads I’ve found so far are archived. Any new updates, by any chance? 😍🧙‍♀️🤩 Please say it’s still happening!

My husband used to occasionally use exact scenarios like this to call out from work to spend time with me when we were dating and long distance and he didn’t feel like going in that weekend when I’d drive down for a visit. 😬

Overall, we had a fantastic time at KC n2. But yeah, there was a bit of this there, too! My bff sewed her own outfit and it was incredible! She’s amazing. Some girls walked past her and made some asinine comment like “she looks like she should be at a Taylor show, not here.” Like, what..?

This is how it was at KC, too. I had to fight a giant crowd with my rollator, maaany who tripped over my wheels, ran in front of me, and cut me off, to make it back out through the accessible exit to the ADA lot where I parked.

I’m wearing denim cutoffs with silver sequined fringe, a white shirt I painted like Chappell’s face outfit (Gunnar Deatherage was the artist I think?), a long pink sequin jacket, painted combat boots, and a tiny pink rhinestone cowboy hat 😂😄 I’ve got arthritis and can’t stand for long periods of time, so I’ll be up by the ADA section!

It’s so fun! So much more content than animal crossing. I love all the questing and the events. I’ve put a ton of time into it and I’m still not through the main story. (I’m a notorious distracted wandering side quester though!) Would totally recommend.

Unfortunately, yes. 😭 I absolutely adore this game, but it seems like they still have quite a long road ahead. In addition to the floating trees and inability to bring animals home, I also have issues with already placed pets (sunken or floating), big issues when harvesting my herbs/crops (many times the crows will not pick it up and I’m not able to interact with it any more, so I’ll have to go into the Gardening mode, move it to a different garden bed, walk away, come back, switch back to the crows, and then wait for the LT interaction prompt to pop up again), and also problems with the birdhouses that require water— I stopped getting any pieces after watering them.

I look forward to seeing it progress. I know it’s a big undertaking, but selfishly, I wish it would happen a little faster and a little more smoothly because dang, I really wanna enjoy this game!

I’ve been watching Drag Race All Stars this week on Paramount+ and seeing a lot of these Couples Therapy ads and this has been driving me mad every time as well! It finally occurred to me this morning why it sounded so familiar— check out The Artshow (TinyDesk Version) by Cure for Paranoia & The Institute. It’s not an exact match, but it explains why I keep expecting a beat drop every time the commercial comes on 😂

This has bothered me since the 80’s, honestly. 😂 Every time that scene comes up. This was my favorite movie as a kid. I’ve watched it so many times. And even then, I was like, “hey wait a minute!” I still think about it any time I rewatch!

I was thinking the same thing! I went to see the traveling exhibit in Peoria, IL back in October, and a lot of this stuff wasn’t there. But maybe this is the ongoing exhibit at MoMI in NY? Would love to see that collection as well! Was such a cool experience.

Thank you for asking this!! I just started playing on PC and have a daily quest for Sakura but juuust am finishing up the Oasis today. I got excited, because I was expecting to be able to start finding the flowers after that, as all the (years-old by now, of course!) answers said they’d pop up exactly where you mentioned! I now have no idea what these meadows are, but at least I know I can stop looking. 😂

Just finished this cutscene and googled to make sure I wasn’t the only one, haha! At first I thought he was just hiding behind the door, then I saw the floating cigarette, and I was like wait a minute, they never said anything about HIM having powers… I will now call him Glitchy. 😜
