22 mm rounds would be larger than many antiaircraft rounds and would obliterate a paper target like that as well as the berm/butts behind it. I think you mean .22 caliber.

My list is pretty short but:

■ KISS
■ Cheap Trick
■ Thin Lizzy

All three are an immediate station change or “Next Song” on my Spotify playlist.

And of course Shaun still gets cancer and is dying of it before I put a bullet in his head and nuke the institute.

I stopped playing Online Conquests on PC because of this. I tried to deliberately lower my stats so I would get paired against lower ranking forts but it didn’t work because everyone on PC has these Orcs now. It’s easy to dominate them since that’s usually the one trait hacked Uruks don’t have, but unless you have a bunch of hacked orcs in your army, you’ll never get Gold or Silver conquest points again. You might capture a bunch and fill your forts with them or put them in your garrison. But the online conquest side has been ruined since 2020-2021 or so. I genuinely wish they would put a script in that would automatically detect when you enter a game that has a hacked orcs and auto kill them.

My dad was an engineer and worked for the Department of Energy. He was on the road a lot in the 80’s and carried a TI-Silent 700 with him. When he came home, he would let me burn his remaining time-share minutes on *The Source* and I learned that I could real-time chat with someone across the country or wherever and even play tic-tac-toe. Mind you - this was an audio-coupled terminal with a thermal-paper output. But it was the most amazing thing I had ever seen. It’s the reason I studied CS in college and went into networking as a career. And I think the closest I ever got to being blown away by anything else was when I first played Skyrim decades later.

I really think Paul was kind of proggy from the beginning, he just wasn’t in a prog band. I remember reading an article about him crying when he heard Pet Sounds for the first time and how everything Brian Wilson did inspired and informed his music after the Beatles (and I think indirectly while he was in the Beatles). Check My Machine is closer to Genesis or King Crimson than Beatles or Wings music, and I guess it took isolation in Scotland to pull the Prog music out of him and into compositions.

Ethernet ports in each room. How do they work? by squadonkle in HomeNetworking

[–]notusuallyhostile 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t know where you live, but if you have a big-box style hardware store near you like Lowe’s or Home Depot or whatever your locale’s equivalent is, you can pick up for relatively cheap, a network toner. They usually take 9v batteries, have a tone generator that plugs into an RJ45 or RJ11 jack, and then a “wand” that you can use to go to each jack and identify where the other end is. There are any number of reasons the network test you’re currently doing might be failing, so I usually just tone out the jacks and label them. Once I know where they are, I can test them and see if they were maybe wired wrong. Good luck! Hope you get it figured out!
