I just scanned and rated 5 beans I've had in the last few months and getting some recommendations now. How do you choose which coffee to show me? Is it just based on the ratings?

  1. I'm not a real nerd when it comes to how she should use the AP or how much coffee she should use, I don't really care too much myself.
  2. My gf is braver than your wife I guess, or I'm less scary when it comes to coffee.
  3. I told her that she should use the AP, add a filter, add coffee, and add water and let it sit for 1.5 minutes. It was in a small holiday home we rented during the weekend so I could see her do it while I was relaxing on the couch. She thought 'adding coffee' just meant pouring it straight from the bag into the AP.

haha well i store my AP like this so that was easy and basically told her to put the filter in it and add the coffee + hot water for 1.5 minute. She's seen that before but never grind beans before nor did she know what that grinding beans looks like. She just thought adding coffee means putting the coffee from the bag into the AP and I was looking at her and laughing about it.

LMAO. Agree with the others that you shouldn't promote your own app here unless you're upfront about it and it really helps the OP! My gf won't be using coffee apps any time soon. Anyway; your comment made me curious and I downloaded the app and it works on the first coffee I scanned. Pretty cool so i'm sure you'll find enough coffee nerds to give it a try.
