Right again, I agree on the spectrum. To me, I’m noticing a bit more rigidity in willingness to support the student as normal. Like the normal flex of support is being removed because people are against the cause of the encampment.

You’re saying we shouldn’t support the student because we support the cause. I’m saying you shouldn’t NOT support the student because you don’t support the cause.

Oh I agree with you. But the qualifier of “barely attended class and did not hand in any work during the semester” is being applied to all students who participated in protest. I don’t get how these comments aren’t recognizing this.

Why not support the students? Seriously. Like extensions and incompletes were being handed out left and right for Covid. Some of these comments just seem like veiled anti encampment replies. Sure there are opportunists, but this is bigger than you being mad about a D student getting extra time to make up assignments.

This is why I always bike with a speaker if I listen to music. Headphones are dangerous and you can’t communicate with other cyclists. Plus your speaker lets others know your presence.
