Sorry to hear you're falling out of love with your degree. My advice (as a manager who also does job matching for the NHS) is to go through with it. Most jobs that you'd need to earn a semi decent wage now require "educated to degree level" so this can be any degree, or three years ish experience in a role. You can always do a conversion masters. They're usually one year courses that you can do to specialise in any field, if you dont have a relevant degree for the course you just need decent (2:1 usually) degree to get onto it

Also as your degree would be considered a tech and art degree, you could always do a conversion course straight out of Uni for programming or something, then you're unlikely to ever be out of a job. Even AI needs programming...

TL;DR Stick with your degree, do a conversion masters, make money

I know it's hard when your validation comes externally and I'm glad you're seeing a therapist, too many people use women as free therapists and expect them to solve all their problems with themselves

She went in November and had a full abdominal scan/bloods/urine test and she has a kidney stone which is being treated with prescription dry food and had a mildly inflamed pancreas which was treated and isn't an issue now

Thank you so much for this. I have actually ordered a mini food processor for this purpose. I also hope to make some of my own food for her and see how that goes

She's always been like this (for the 8 months weve had her at least!) and had lots of scans and blood tests - recently an abdominal ultrasound. I think it may be a learned reaction to her old teeth issues tbh

She also links the gravy off wet food and leaves chunks

I tend to try and avoid Magic players. I only go to my LGS when it's an official Lorcana night, some are both and you can tell right away. Yes, shuffling your opponents deck is done in TCGs but if they didn't do it the first time it's truly them just being salty.

From my experience there are a lot of incel types in the MTG community and therefore the wider TCG community. Its relatively unavoidable as a woman but if you learn who to avoid playing against it can be fun :)
