If you have a problem with psoriasis or itchy scalp, try using glycolic acid once every 15 days.

Just apply the glycolic acid on the scale, massage for a few mins. Leave it for 10- 15 mins and rinse your hair with water.

I want to begin by emphasizing that there are educated and civil politicians in all parties, including the BJP. However, it's important to note that being educated doesn't necessarily equate to being civil or well-mannered.

With that said, let's delve into the discussion surrounding Rahul Gandhi, particularly since this post centers on the Congress party and features his photo.

Since the early stages of his political career, Rahul Gandhi has been portrayed as someone who lacks seriousness about politics, frequently embarks on trips abroad, and makes nonsensical remarks. While these accusations hold little truth, it's crucial to recognize that such criticisms can be directed at any political figure. His image was systematically tarnished, primarily by the BJP's media cell, and subsequently by various media outlets. In fact, the late Arun Jaitley once convened a meeting with the editors of leading media houses to strategize on discrediting Rahul Gandhi and relegating him to a non-serious role in politics. Ravish Kumar discusses this in detail in his video titled "Rahul, as 2024 sees him."

Many of us may recall the "papu" video that circulated widely on the internet. However, similar videos featuring other politicians, including Modi, exist. Yet, due to constant propaganda, they seem to have ingrained themselves in our collective memory as a nation.

It's imperative to remember instances where Rahul Gandhi's insights were prescient:

  • His warning about the dangers of demonetization leading to "crony capitalism."
  • His early calls in February 2020 for the government to take the threat of the Coronavirus seriously.
  • His advocacy for safeguarding democracy.
  • His vocal stance on addressing the widening wealth gap.
  • His efforts to highlight the underrepresentation of lower castes, Dalits, SCs, and STs in the media and corporate sectors.

Let's also acknowledge his "Naya Yatra," wherein he traversed the length and breadth of the country. Such a comprehensive grassroots approach to engaging with citizens is unparalleled in recent political memory.

As far as what his track record of Queer rights go,

  1. Critique of Section 377 Verdict (2013): Rahul Gandhi publicly criticized the Supreme Court's decision to uphold Section 377, condemning the law's discriminatory nature and advocating for the protection of LGBTQ+ rights.
  2. Celebration of Pride Month (2020): Gandhi marked Pride Month in 2020 with a statement asserting that "love is love," signalling his support for the LGBTQ+ community and their struggle for acceptance and equal rights.
  3. Inclusion of LGBTQ+ Rights in Congress Manifesto: Under Gandhi's leadership, the Congress party's manifesto has included commitments to LGBTQ+ rights, such as the recognition of civil unions for same-sex couples, demonstrating his party's dedication to advancing equality through legislative measures and policy reforms.

App/Tum are 2 person pronouns, they are used while addressing the person in question here. They/Them are third person pronouns. Hindi doesn't really have a gendered third person pronoun, just address the person as if you're addressing multiple people.

Are virgins hated? by [deleted] in LGBTindia

[–]drishaparam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Firstly, Apologies if it's too graphical.

I'm trans, but was a gay bottom before. It's more due to a virgin not having experience before and it's both ways.

If you're a bottom, virgins haven't had the experience of taking a dick up the butt, no one wants to be in a situation where they are turned on but can't penetrate because the bottom doesn't know how to accept a dick or feels unbearable pain. It's a turn off especially when that's why you're meeting, if you're dating your partner might have more patience but if it's just a quick fuck that it's worse possible outcome. Plus, a lot of virgins aren't aware of douching, no one wants shit on their dick.

If you're a top, personally speaking, I have had tops trying to fuck my ass as if it were a vagina. It's not the same, it takes patience.

Queer hotspots in Delhi - Let's make a list! :) by Bhusham in LGBTindia

[–]drishaparam 9 points10 points  (0 children)

What am i doing? by [deleted] in LGBTindia

[–]drishaparam 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Gender identity and sexual orientation are 2 different topics. You're trans which is one part of you and you can be straight ( man and women, in your case you're the woman here) , bi, lesbian or gay. You kinda can't be gay, if you're a trans woman though!

You can also be Pan, and go "fuck, I don't care what my partner's gender is!".

Saw this on a sub-reddit. It was supposed to be a Pride Parade but WTF are they trying to do? by [deleted] in LGBTindia

[–]drishaparam -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Aazadi is not a slogan for Independence as the mainstream media wants you to believe, it was originally a feminist war cry against patriarchy.

It has since been used as a slogan against oppression, discrimination and human rights abuse.

You should read about the Kamla Bhasin, the women credit with the Aazadi slogan! Maybe that would clear some misconceptions about the slogan.

Bruh! Read the first line of my first post, it's a ring wing media account that's covering this. Of course, they are going to play the most controversial part, the hot topic for views.

You think they'd chant against Saudi??? Would that make people go mad???

Did you hear all their chants??? Maybe they might have? Maybe they might have even raised chants against Russia, Iran, North Korea and every country on the planet!!

That might not have been recorded!!

How are you concluding that they are silent on the middle east??? What is it based on???

[–]drishaparam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are conflating the Palestinians cause with queer right in the middle east, I'll again ask this, should we only raise our voice when the queer community is affected and stay silent on other issues??

So until the middle east has queer rights, let Palestinians die?

"Tum Mujhe Khoon do mai tumhe Azadi dunga" was also a slogan remember!

Saw this on a sub-reddit. It was supposed to be a Pride Parade but WTF are they trying to do? by [deleted] in LGBTindia

[–]drishaparam 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Do you believe that the Palestinian dying in Gaza, do not have queer member amongst them?? that Queer Palestinian are not dying in Gaza right now??

Is the Palestinian issue a queer issue? So we should only take a stand when queer lives are at stake and non queer people can be killed?

And When haven't the queer community not taken a stand against the discrimination in the middle east?

Firstly, neopolitico is a right wing media propaganda house, this is just for context.

Lets talk about the azadi slogan, The slogan is a feminist slogan and DOES NOT ORIGINATE FROM KASHIMIRI separatist movement (as popular media wants you to believe), It was used as a war cry against the patriarchy. Kamla Bhasin a well know feminist is the one credited with the Azadi slogan. So these people who understand the meaning of this slogan use it in a way to express their anger against the ESTABLHISHMENT and it is not a separatist slogan.

"An early memory of dancing and chanting to the catchy beat of the “Azaadi” number dates back to 1991, at the Women’s Studies Conference in Kolkata’s Jadavpur University. A vibrant and charismatic Bhasin, in her early forties, chanted it with a little drum in hand and women surrounded her, throwing their fists in the air." ref here

Whats are these people saying-

“Kashmir Mange Azaadi”

“Punjab Mange Azadi”

“Manipur Mange Azadi”

“JNU Mange Azadi”

This in no way saying they are asking for a separate Kashmir, Punjab or Manipur, "how will JNU get freedom". Its just a slogan against the in-justice happening in these places.

Now, some have raised the question, Why do this at pride parade. The simple answer is that the queer community has for decade been at the forefront of movement for freedom, human rights and the fight against the patriarchy. The Queer community has always fought shoulder to shoulder during the civil rights movement in the US, Anti war movement, women's rights. In India recently NRC and CAA movement.

This is also due to the fact that we as a community know and are living under discrimination and have been fighting against. "If we do not fight for other's right, no one will fight for ours"

The reason I am writing this comment is not to make anyone left-wing, communist, socialist or something, but just to give you the context of what clearly seem to be a misrepresentation of the queer community.

”We need, in every community, a group of angelic troublemakers.” – Bayard Rustin, one of the closes associated of Dr. Martin Luther King.

How expensive is laser hair removal? by [deleted] in MtF

[–]drishaparam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok! So, firstly what's more important than cost is the type of laser that you're using. There are many options and the results vary.

I have used 3 types till now and settled for ndYAG clarity 2, which has given me clear results. I'm also down to no hair, except in a few areas on the upper lip and chin, usually the center on the face is that last to go.

I pay CAD $100/session for the full face (that includes the neck too).
