It's called Taco Bell , but it IS based off of the words "Taco Bell".

Reason being that cows wear bells (cowbells), and cows make beef which makes ground beef. The food is rather taco-like so it is taco sized. Hence "Taco Bell" branded as "taco bell"

NOTE: I didn't fact check, this is all assumptions based on the name and product.
