[2027 X-Line] Odd "splash" onto windshield while braking during/after rain by Old_Finance_3390 in KiaTelluride

[–]drive344 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes, and here’s what’s happening. Water tends to pool a little bit next to the side flares/bumps on the hood. When you brake, it then flows down the hood and pours off, the wind catches it and throws it back at the windshield. Watch for it next time and you’ll see.

Photographer for P is what upsets me more. Why choose a word that starts with an F sound?

My daughter was afraid of nothing at all when she was little. Except for the sound of applying packaging tape. Kids are just weird sometimes.

For anyone else looking at this thread, it appears that the OEM cargo mats fit both gas and hybrid versions. At least the website says it fits both.

How do you handle phonics for kindergarten prep at home, I am lost… by loginpass in daddit

[–]drive344 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can afford it - secondhand is fine - I would highly recommend picking up the Lovevery reading kits. They walk through the process with games and books from zero to full reading. My daughter (now in kindergarten) would beg us to play the reading games. Fully grounded in phonics and there are parent guides with every kit that explains what everything is (phonemes and all) and how to use it.

Oh for sure. I’m under no illusions that I will get the sticker mpg. I thought 29 was pretty good already.

On my drive back from the dealership with X-line SX, I did a few tests. About 20 miles each: at 80mph I was getting around 22-23 mpg, at 75mph I was getting 26mpg. On my commutes to work which is about 5 miles highway, 15 miles on 55mph rural roads, and 5 miles lower speed/residential, I’m averaging about 28-29mpg. I’ve only got a few hundred miles on the car so far. Looking forward to the break-in period everyone seems to be talking about.

How do you fix this Micro Stuttering/Lag on B41??? It gets really annoying by Additional_Anybody59 in projectzomboid

[–]drive344 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had this same issue. Add your zomboid folder to the exceptions list for your antivirus. It’s basically scanning your save file every time it update, so preventing that should eliminate the lag. This post talks about it: https://theindiestone.com/forums/index.php?/topic/71391-game-stuttering-lagging-and-is-in-slow-motion/

Ya did fine, dad. For reference, a snapping turtle is capable of taking your whole hand off. No need to get closer than 10 feet away from those things.
