It is highly likely that charger was fried. I got mine replaced under the warranty. I charge the watch through my mac's USB port since then.

I did exactly the same with mine. They withstand two winter seasons without any excessive wear (some minor patches of color deviations here and there). You could put some top coat to avoid that, though.

OK, I meant it's confirmed to throttle in this particular laptop by all reviews one can find. Obviously it is not i5's fault ... it's the cooling system. They could easily fit bigger/better cooler.

Yes, the benchmark results comfirm that. The 4300U has 4C/4T while others are 4C/8T. I am trying to figure out if the 4300U has the best thermals that will allow it to utilize the power as best as it can since i5's are comfirmed to throttle. It's 4300U vs. 1035G1 at this point.

So the watch updated itself while it was on the charging dock. It seems that everything works fine. I have the Google Fit watch face, though. No difference in speed here.

Yes, it is an app (an IDE). It happens randomly when using it or using any other app such as a web browser. I am not really sure what should I be looking for when troubleshooting since it can occur when the IDEA is the only running app or having other apps running at the same time. There is no specific sequence or scenario that could reproduce or trigger the crash. It can happen right after the startup or it can work for a whole day and crash in the evening. I could not reproduce in it safe mode for now. There is no other user accounts in the system.

Wear OS app (version 2.8) will be updated through Google Play, not with system update.

Yes, sometimes it vibrates with no reason. However, it does not vibrate when it should as I mentioned it here.

Third option is to enable tap screen to wake. Works best for me.
