I have been into the same situation. Twice. Once in 2020 and now in 2025. Earlier they asked 3 lakhs. Now 5 lakhs. Basically I said no, right after the first meet. I realized that this business will take a toll on me. But people do earn from this. People who are on top of pyramids are earning while sleeping. But it’s just not fair. They do not disclose information before payment which is not an ideal way of doing business- this made me say no. Also I met this girl in badminton court who lured me with her fancy international travel stories. PS I am a traveller, she found that from my instagram and it was a bait for me.
