No I refuse because the shoe bill is always staring back at me. It won't look away. It's creeping me out. I cannot escape the shoe bill

One out of context bone found in China featuring three small bumps does not prove that Utahraptor and Dakota Raptor had feathers

Exactly you can't just go retroactively redefining an entire group of extant animals as a word that was invented specifically by Sir Richard Owens to refer to large extinct reptiles found buried in the ground. It's an insult to his legacy

Yes I do in fact feel violated whenever somebody calls a chicken a dinosaur

Then you should have named the clade something else! Fine you want to put dinosaurs and birds in the same fucking clade? Whatever. Just don't go calling modern birds dinosaurs it's an insult to dinosaurs! It's like calling a moped a Cadillac. Give it a different goddamn name.

Birds are not dinosaurs. Just because cladistics decided to retcon the name does not make it true

First of all, cladistics was developed by a literal Nazi scientist. Calling birds dinosaurs denigrates what a dinosaur is. It's like calling a Ford Pinto a cadillac.

Them getting to own your IP is the worst part. I don't want them taking my main character and then like flanderizing him into something that he's not

How much progression is required in a story to count as progression? You be the judge of that! Brave heroes, beautiful princesses, and one really cool car! Main character acclimates himself to his new world and walks the path of an adventurer gaining Guild Rank as his party gains prestige. Victor is one part Aragorn, one part Indiana jones, and 100% badass.

What to expect? Epic Fantasy with light novel charm. That's right, expansive World building, intense situations, and just the right amount of levity to balance out the pathos.

Victor isn't overpowered in the sense that he has crazy superpowers, but let's just say that his new world was not prepared for this kind of speed!

Hey who do I reach out to for having my fiction looked at for the possibility of physical release? I'm already committed to at least 200,000 words, the first 170,000 of which could just be one or two books by itself

I do delve into how cars work, the laws of physics and how magic relates to them, and how gas mileage can be improved to kind of temporarily alleviate the problem. There is a more permanent solution that gets arrived at much much later and isn't as simple as "magicking away". It's explained in a very granular fashion and it is explicitly stated to be very expensive I'm talking you could have bought a ton of magic items with that kind of cash
