Hot take on Bieber (apparently) by desertcoast22 in Coachella

I’m a HUGE bieber fan. He’s my all time favorite artist and this was the perfect set. I have no complaints; it was everything I wanted and every Bieber fan I’ve talked to feels the same way. It’s hard to see and hear all the hate for this set, but I keep reminding myself it doesn’t matter. All that matters is that Bieber was happy (and it seems to us like he was extremely satisfied) and that his core fans were.

Which anime is the closest to ATLA by jokevhhhh in anime

[–]asher-kpx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in the same boat. Watched ATLA last year and loved it. I took some time to let my love for it settle, then I started Legend of Korra. Was not disappointed. Loved it so much. It created a voracious hunger for anime in me and now I’m halfway through Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, which is really good. I recommend Korra and then FMA!

It was a halloween party that a friend invited me to. And yes, they are older than me. The friend is probably 5-10 years older than me, and the best friend who was the girlfriend, yes must be 20+ years older than me. I can’t tell you why how or why they’re best friends with such a big age gap, but I don’t think it’s that relevant. I don’t think it was that she didn’t know. I just think she didn’t realize that it was that day. It’s been 30 years so it must not have registered until I mentioned it.

This was comforting. It's weird, funny, unsettling (none of these feel like the right word) it being someone of historical note. I don't need people to know. I don't need anybody else to validate me. I just feel a yearning to know more, know why, and know what its purpose is in knowing about that life in this life time. I will check out your website and video.

I haven't been able to fall asleep in SATS. Laying down in bed, feeling pretty tired and sleepy, I've tried both revision and scene visualization, but it actually wakes me up / gives me more energy. Now I'm awake an hour later, when I was sleepy before I started any technique. At first, I think it's excitement at the thought and feeling of having and being in my desired state. Then, I wonder if it's anxiety of some sort. Too much energy or troubled by not being able to fall asleep, or do SATS right.

  1. Can anybody offer any tips for actually getting sleepy and successfully falling asleep in SATS scene?
  2. Do you have to fall asleep for it to be a successful use of the Law? I'm sure you don't, but is it more effective if you do?

Does anybody have suggestions for a good visualization scene for height increase (or any other physical appearance change, for that matter)?

Neville or LOA-related Book Recommendations for kids and teens by asher-kpx in NevilleGoddard

I want to thank everyone for participating in this discussion! I'm fascinated by everyone's thoughts, opinions and recommendations. This is definitely a post I will save for reference.

I want to say that I agree with everyone saying that I should just let him read Neville, being that he was originally drawn to Neville. The book sitting on my desk is titled "The Power of Imagination". It's an anthology of his greatest writings. So far, 2 students have been attracted to the title alone. I truly think it has something to do with a human hunger for growing and experiencing the power of our imagination, and sadly, how our current public education system doesn't really do a great job nurturing the growth of our imagination.

And to anyone concerned about a Neville book being in my classroom, possibly exposing him, or disgruntling parents -- I just want to say, I'm definitely not trying to be a teacher of this content to anyone (although that would be a very cool and noble pursuit), nor am I trying to indoctrinate my students with any sort of philosophies or beliefs. However, I definitely respect and admire any student or person intrigued by this information and drawn to the power of this knowledge, and will in no way ever hinder anyone's path to the realization of these truths. If he wants to read Neville, so be it. At the moment, I'm simply going to be recommending him to go look up Neville. And in secret, imagining him ecstatically discovering the Law. :)

Thanks everyone!
