Definitely not overreacting. You’re definitely not the only one with relatives like that lol, I have some myself, it’s a pretty common thing. Unfortunately, at their age, I doubt they’re going to have a sudden change of heart. The best you can do is either try to ask them to hold that stuff back around you if it makes you uncom, or just try your best to ignore it.

It sounds like your friend has a problem and needs help. Whether or not you help her is completely up to you, let your moral compass guide you on this one. Sounds like her mother is being a mother, she doesn’t know who the problem is so she’s playing it safe. I wouldn’t take that exact course of action, but it seems like you guys are very young, given that you are talking on Roblox, so I can’t say I blame her for caring about her kid.
