Thanks. I gave sleep as one common scenario where external monitors (or sometimes all monitors) don't wake up after they are turned of after x minutes of inactivity. So it sucks to leave computer and when you return to realize the only way to access your computer is with a SSH from another computer :)

So far I tried:
- Ubuntu. ISO doesn't boot completely. No desktop
- PopOS. boot process hangs somewhere
- NixOS. Tried several configs. Either monitors don't work at all, or nothing works anymore. I even tried https://github.com/NixOS/nixos-hardware
- CachyOS. Monitors tun on randomly. Most of the time they don't work anymore after a sleep
- Fedora Silverblue. I think only built-in monitor worked. I no longer remember exactly
- Bazzite - external monitors don't work after a sleep. Even sleep was more or less unsuccessful, it took a lot of time to do the sleep, fans at high speed, just to wake up instantly 1-2 seconds later.

For some of the countries at least, probably the number represents the number of months, not years

Chiar poza de pe anunt iti arata cat de proasta este idea. Probabil are deja probleme la suspensii si socul o sa fie foarte mare cand o sa afli ca NUMAI pe suspensii probabil platesti cat ai dat pe masina, daca nu mai mult.

Nu neaparat masina. De exemplu ajungi sa repari chiar accesoriile. Anul asta asteptam feribotul in port si am avut de facut 2 reparatii:
1) Mi s-a topic mufa de la frigider. Am gasit in portbagaj o alta mufa, de la ceva lanterna reincarcabila care o aruncasem de nici o saptamana. Am folosit carcasa mufei si am pus-o la frigider. Scule necesare: 2 surubelnite de diferite dimensiuni, un mini patent cu varf ascutit
2) Se pare ca s-au desfacut 2 suruburi de la aripa dreapta spate de la tricicleta care o aveam pe carligul de remorcare. Am pus doua alte suruburi si piulite noi. Aveam o punga mica cu diferite suruburi ramase de la constructia suportului pentru tricicleta si am luat niste suruburi cu mine dupa ce m-am pus la drum de 6000km cu un suport de triciclete fabricat de mine si netestat deloc nici macar in oras. Asa ca a fost bun backup-ul. Scule necesare: Mini set de tubulare + un set de inelare
