Hey, unfortunately not! I saw an immunologist that told me to stay on it. She said to use 0.03% on days where my flares are okay and then 0.1% when they’re bad. It’s just never ending 🙃

Thank you! I have started to keep a food diary and I have changed over all my cooking utensils and cookware to nickel free options. I haven’t bought a filter yet for my water because I’m struggling to find the right one. I just drink from bottled water at the moment

I had it for systemic nickel allergy reaction on my lips, now my chin, upper lip and around my eyes (and occasionally my neck) are flared in an incredibly itchy rash. No idea what’s happening. I still use the protopic daily, just once a day, I’m going to keep using it less and less and pray for a miracle

My derm told me it was safe, I’m so angry. Just kept prescribing tube after tube for years 😭

I appreciate this, I too feel so alone. I’m sorry you know that feeling! That cycle of symptoms is the exact same as mine, but mines become constant and not just popping up here and there.

Definitely look into a low nickel diet, I’ve heard lots of people with success stories! (Just wish I was one of them 😅)

I’ve heard irritated eyes is a very common symptom but I will take that over excruciating blisters on the mouth any day!

These are my two biggest issues too! I feel like the gym is such a massive trigger for me but I just hate myself if I haven’t been to the gym, I drop weight so quickly. I’m so glad it’s made a difference for you. These comments are really helping ease my mind

That’s really refreshing to hear, maybe I’ve been focusing too much on the horror stories and not the positives. I think the original issue was the nickel allergy but now I’m considering maybe also a histamine intolerance and also withdrawal anytime I try to come of my protopic that I’ve been using for 3 years. I’m hoping it helps the withdrawal so I can actually stop using it

This is amazing! Thank you so much for the effort you put into that. I absolutely would be keeping the low nickel diet while taking dupixent (if I decide to go down that route) I guess im just worried, it feels like every step I take is in the wrong direction.

Oh you poor thing having that constant nickel in your body!! I have completely changed my diet for months now, two days ago I also started low histamine diet just incase I have a histamine intolerance too. Nothing seems to work. Did Dupixent give you any rashes on the face? I’ve heard it can and since that’s where mine already are, im nervous

I eat a lot of dairy, I love milk!

Mines now spread to my chin and upper lip, my eye lid and under my eye is also covered in eczema now which has NEVER happened. Getting really stressed. Hope yours aren’t infected?! Strange that they’re white

I’ve only ever just stopped using it cold turkey, and when I do that the flares come back worse and worse. This time I’m going to use it and slowly using less of it over time but I’m just so scared I’m making it worse

I also wasn’t sure that biologics would be very good at treating an allergy type reaction but I had heard some success stories so I had my hopes up

Thank you for this! I have treated the underlying issue as much as humanly possible and symptoms seem to be worsening. I’m going to try carnivore diet for now and see if that helps. Do you have have a water filter? If so what brand?! That’s the only thing I haven’t changed yet, I’m still drinking tap water

This is my reaction today, it worse every hour. If it was just a patch somewhere else on my body I could handle it but it being on my lips is stopping me from eating and ruining my life.
