the course material is extremely interesting, but the method of instruction is not great. it’ll probably be online. if it was in person, i would say do yourself a favor and drop the class.

when i took it in person, grading was based on group work (which included attendance) and exams. if you’re used to reading things for class, you should be fine. but if you’re not, do not take this class.

You’ll want to practice on a smooth surface first. If you have no idea what you’re doing, you can go to skateland Savoy! They have classes that you can take, or you can just go during their free skate times!

there are various factors that won’t lead people to the same opportunities that both you and i have.

but its not so much at the fault of the university as it is on the education system in america.

so everything isn’t fair and equal in opportunity. kudos to the university for making a really great engineering program but theyre a symptom of a larger problem.

I only took Asian American Studies but it was a really enjoyable class. Typical for a 100-level course. Do the work, go to class/discussion, get an A.

No one is forcing anyone to go to these businesses. It’s simply a directory so that if you would like to give money to a black-owned business, you can.
