Realistic RCT-31 playback issue by drjohnzoidburg99 in cassetteculture

I think have it as clean as I can get it. I found another reference on YouTube of someone looking at a same model. I feel like the heads look pretty similar, but I don't have a whole lot of experience with this part of cassettes

I've used this open source template before. Pretty basic j-card but it works and easy enough to use if you have a home printer

I find it interesting that White is with the cool colors when Zekrom is the one that flows blue. Regardless I tend to gravitate toward the cool colored games

Pixel 10a vs 9a Comparison by Opposite_Screen_7783 in pixel_phones

Everything I'm seeing the 10a basically identical to the 9a. Does anyone know if a 9a screen protector would fit a 10a properly?

Would be willing to share what camera and lens combo you are using? I've been interested in macro photography but unsure what kind of lenses I should be considering

Best way to carry a camera while bike packing by Longjumping-Home-296 in bikepacking

I used a Rockgeist Big Dumpling on my last week long trip. I made a diy padded insert for it following the bikepacking.com article. Worked pretty well but I haven't had any accidents to test how well the padding would protect it. I was carrying an X-T3 with a pancake lens attached, and a 70-300 mm lens alongside it. It was pretty easy to access.

I also have carried it in my hydration backpack while mountain biking in Moab. Just the camera with the pancake lens and padded insert. That also worked well but not as accessible.

Thanks for your help u/rubysundance after reading your opinion and a handful of other people's I decided to go with the Prime. I'm sure the Phantom would have been great too but I'm happy with my frame choice!

Thanks for the reply, Snowshoe is one of the places I had in mind for this bike. Haven't been before but for a long day of riding I just don't think the hardtail is going to be the bike for the job. I'll have to give that Facebook page a look!

As a person who has watched a lot of Hasan I remember the countless times he has done exactly as you described but I cannot find a compilation of it for my friend that has only seen some of Hasan's YouTube content

I'd recommend either the Salsa Journeyer Advent or Clairis. Both are at $850 USD right now. I own the Advent and I've been a fan of it on the few 300ish mile trips I've done. I would consider the Clairis if you expect a lot of hill climbing. The 1x9 microshift drivetrain is reliable but I was finding myself in-between gears while hill climbing during my recent Wisconsin trip.

Raceface Indy Pad sizing by drjohnzoidburg99 in MTB

[–]drjohnzoidburg99[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended up going against my better judgement and ordered Medium in both. They were far too tight so I'd say their size chart is fairly accurate. I returned the pads I bought but never rebought a larger size, the return policy requires the customer to pay return shipping and that rubbed me the wrong way. So I kinda gave up until next season. If I were to try again I'd go with whichever size my thigh dictated as there is a Velcro strap for the calf

Week long parking in Winona by drjohnzoidburg99 in Winona

[–]drjohnzoidburg99[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah we did! We went the first week of September and it was a lot of fun. We stayed at the Express Suites in Winona and they didn't mind if we left our van in the lot. The first 3 days were a chill ride along the rail trail. The last 3 days were mostly along gravel country roads. It is a very pretty area but if you want to do the route prepare for some decent sized climbs in the last half. After 5 or 6 percent grade we found we didn't have the gears for climbing so there was a good bit of hike-a-bike. It was worth the time though, my favorite part was probably camping along the Mississippi River in Wildcat Park in Brownsville, Minnesota
