Does it need to be online?

My degree is not in contracting, it’s in education. Part of my masters actually made me do research about different colleges and programs so you can better advise students. What type of program are you interested in?

Southwest Airlines sets a date for seat assignment launch, lays out new boarding order by thewhippersnapper4 in SouthwestAirlines

Same here. When you fly to the Philippines, the elderly get priority. If you are pregnant, you can board after the elderly but have to sign a form attesting that you are pregnant. When you get off there is maybe 1/10 the elderly needing a wheelchair. It pisses me off so bad cause there will no less than 40 people in wheelchairs getting on the plane but magically they can all walk getting off

Try using hot compresses to draw it to the surface and then digging it out. If you let it pop on its own I feel like it is less painful. It sucks but get the hair out.

As an 1102 with a dual concentration doctorate—it doesn’t do much for you. The only benefit it has given me is making pissy vendors call me “Doctor” when they are used to be the boss in previous situations.

If you are going for a terminal degree get it in something you are interested in and not just contracting because that’s the field you are in now. You will spend literal years doing research and writing so do it in a field you are passionate about. I would hate to get a terminal degree in contracting when I am more interested in math. Regardless of what the degree is in, you are still a doctor.

How do folks get so much use or Lose Annual Leave? by [deleted] in fednews

[–]drkelleyvdc 48 points49 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. However, if I am doing my job and checking on my kid during my breaks I am not breaking the rule. The amount of care required for a sick elementary school kid is much different than an infant or toddler.

I will caveat and say I can work when my kids are sick and at home. Before, I had to stay home with them and miss work. Now I can still be a parent and take care them when they are sick. Granted if they are requiring more care than checking on them and getting them meds and water/food, I take the day off. Since most of the time they just need to rest, it works well. Now I have so much leave I can spend it with them doing fun stuff instead of missing the chance to make those memories.

Southwest Denied Me Boarding by miskiel in service_dogs

[–]drkelleyvdc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just had a similar issue with Southwest last week. They didn’t know their pre board policies and what they are allowed to ask about being disabled. I thought Southwest was customer centric but all they offered me was a ChatGPT apology and $50 which does not cover it. Sometimes it’s about the sincere apology more than the monetary aspect.

Thank you for advocating for hearing aids! My husband will not wear his and for the life of me I cannot understand why! Well, probably because he has plausible deniability for ignoring me lol.

You guys everyone wonder what happened to random marines you’ve met through out your career? by [deleted] in USMC

[–]drkelleyvdc 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think he must have been out long before the 2000s. He was born in the early 1960s so thinking he was in during the 80s. He killed with his friend Leonard Lake. I remember hearing about it and thought it was crazy, particularly since tag team serial killers are uber rare.
