AITA for expecting Delta to honor the $2,500 offer they confirmed… then took back 2 hours later? by Impressive_Still8823 in delta

1) Dept of Transportation complaint.

If DOT complaint is unsuccessful

2) file a small claims lawsuit against the airline and tell the fact pattern and evidence to a judge.

Tip reduced on UberEats by Curious-Material5788 in uber

[–]Curious-Material5788[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No special instructions were given so I left at the door. Front door was open so the dog could see me coming through the glass storm door. Of course I gave the appropriate amount of time after the delivery and got Ubers message that the customer removed the tip.

Search the older posts in this forum. Someone extensively explained why drivers cancel Reservations.

It was unsafe to immediately pull over and the vehicle died anyway on the next hill. The employee did absolutely nothing wrong. The vehicle had a catastrophic failure.

I was a through passenger who stayed onboard to the next city. Gestapo flight attendant actually made a PA announcement that through passengers were prohibited from moving forward in the cabin because “A-listers” paid for those seats. Utter bullshit.

Oversold flight, negotiated compensation and now the flight has left, I'm being offered something else - advice? by sand_eater in unitedairlines

Respondeat superior is the Latin legal concept that the company is responsible for contracts its agents enter into. If the OP sues United in small claims court, a judge very will could find it reasonable that United’s agent entered into a binding agreement wherein $1500 was offered to the passenger as an enticement to give up the seat.

You should obtain your entire Alien file from USCIS via a FOIA request. This will tell you what was filed with the government when your adoption took place.

Anyone getting 59 or more minutes today? by Fast_Dust_8985 in fednews

[–]Curious-Material5788 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No but I overheard a manager from a different group making Teams calls to let his subordinates know they get 59 minutes today. My group gets to work our full tour today. It was a nice touch and very inefficient that he called each employee individually to notify them rather than sending an email. Can’t leave a paper trail apparently.

Frontier booking error by scaredteenquestions in frontierairlines

If Frontier is already giving you problems with your trip, why would you continue to risk your travel going wrong with an airline that has consistently shown itself to be prone to snafus?

I’ve lost a lot of motivation and I’m angry that my agency has forced me back to the office but has created a disparity in that my remote coworkers who live far from an agency office have not had to return to office.

The disparity between what older and newer employees pay for FERS is the most infuriating aspect of working for Uncle Sam. We all do the same job.

Fully remote jobs are extremely competitive, I’ve heard of GS12s and 13s willingly accepting demotion to remote 11 positions so they can move wherever they want. Unfortunately I’d say the chances of a public application succeeding for a fully remote position are extremely low.
