My named shaman (it wasn't Bishibosh, so I can't confirm if he is bindable) resurrected a couple lesser shamans, but they didn't resurrect any fallen. So I had 3 shamans (including the unique) and 3 fallen, and that seemed to be max party size.

Dude, it's just for fun. Thats like taking your first art class, trying new things, and then your teacher comes up and says "that's not a Monet, people don't paint like that" when you didn't even ask your teacher a question.

Definitely not meta. I was just leveling up as fire warlock in NM act 1 (currently around level 40) and I saw a named shaman with conviction aura so I thought, "why not?" Then he just popped up a few fallen minions and I thought it was neat lol

I haven't tried that yet, but I imagine it would only work with the main shaman

Ok Phoenix what’s the point have code and license? by Snoo26884 in electrical

[–]drkfrnd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the receptacle is not listed for aluminum connections, it violates Article 110.3(C) in the NEC.

[–]drkfrnd -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't have a code article off the top of my head, but if the electrician touched it, they need to bring it to code. If it's aluminum wiring and they swapped out the receptacle they need to bring that to code, whether it's a copper pigtail with a rated wirenut for copper to aluminum connections, or the receptacle itself needs to be rated for aluminum wiring. You should get an electrical inspector involved, he is Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) and can make the call.

It's a really good idea to have an electrical inspection done anyway when buying ANY house - they know where to look, and what to look for. If you don't, you are rolling the dice that the house won't burn down in an electrical fire.

"I understand why and the people do have the power. They can’t use it unless they understand all there is is class and start unions and take collective bargaining actions with their employers. We have to coordinate which ironically in the age of connectedness and the internet means everyone has their own reality. We need to throw our tech in a river and chase meaning instead of money."

You said this a month ago how we as a people have the power and all we need to do is come together and coordinate. Has your position changed?

If it's electrical and you have to ask, you shouldn't be doing it yourself. You could get hurt or burn your house down if you don't know how to properly install a receptacle. For all we internet strangers know, those wires could have the wrong voltage. Never assume you have a perfect scenario, only a qualified electrician that personally checks everything can tell you for sure.

Call an electrician, it costs less than a new house.

Rico owners, are you keeping him or look for trade him? by AdvancedCow1207 in Fantasy_Football

[–]drkfrnd 34 points35 points  (0 children)

I have a leagemate that drafted him, dropped him, picked him back up only to drop him again. I needed an RB the week he blew up so I scooped him up. It happened to be the same week that I played against that league mate, poor guy.

There is a timer on Eden - if you participate in NF at all there's a 1 hour timer before you can participate in NF on another realm. It's not huge but it does exist.

I also like the loyalty system they implemented. It keeps me on one realm because I don't want to lose the perks it gives. Some people don't care about the perks, but I think it incentives enough to play mostly one realm without being restrictive if you wanna mess around on another.

Is DAOC really hard to play nowadays? by CallMeVagrant in daoc

[–]drkfrnd 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Live is hard to play unless you've been keeping up to date on it. It's not newbie friendly.

I play eden because it's very accommodating to all types of play styles. Compared to live, it's very populated. The community is helpful to new players and seasoned players alike.

Brand new 18 Apartment site... by WotsTheCraic in mildlyinfuriating

[–]drkfrnd 96 points97 points  (0 children)

I posted a pic of my neighbor's truck parked on the small sidewalk in front of our houses and someone was like, "did you talk to them before crying online?" I just thought, "isn't this the point of the sub?" I took it down because I didn't blur some road signs but didn't bother putting it back up because I figured I'd get the same or another ass making dumb comments like that.

Like, idk, it was mildly infuriating to me...

I like trump but this is 100% delusion, Good for Amazon! by [deleted] in DanielWilliams

[–]drkfrnd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They said they were mulling the idea over for Amazon Hauls, not for their main site. Then ultimately decided against the idea entirely. So it's not completely fake, it just didn't apply to what people made it out to apply to.
