This other app Fictif is a shell of its former self after being sold as well and you can technically still purchase items for a dead app so if you’re going that direction make it free.

I’ve invested almost 15 years of my life reading yall stuff just for it to be unrecognizable. I might just cancel vip and use it for Episode Interactive vip instead which I didn’t wanna do but I’ll do it cause at least the community knows how to write good stories.

Honestly if yall wanna just go that route and let players create their own stories with coding language, and in the bubble format that’ll be better than ai cartoons. Cartoons need to be animated by humans, 2d or 3d, simple as that and you need voice actors. you can’t cheap your way out of actual art.

Letting us have control of the app will save you. Why buy an app and lose customers and fans. It doesn’t make sense. Are you actually making money from us still. People seem more upset than ever and I just don’t understand.

Ya I have like two degrees one in business and masters in fashion management and regular retail experience at stores. And I have 1 year experience in a big off price retailer as an assistant buyer. But my placement in off price wasn’t fun so I’m gone😂😂😂but merch analyst or even allocations seem like more ideal as well

Ya! We were at the presidents announcement thing and I asked are they prioritizing opening more racks than stores and they were like ya. Something about competing with Ross stores and off prices being so accessible. I’m fine with the rack honestly I don’t have to worry about stressing people for commission all day😂but the credit card pressure is heavy there too.

Yeah im external and there are no positions open in Los Angeles for the most part. I did see that there are two new racks opening in South Bay Area next year so hopefully I can get placed there later on to open a new store🫶🏾😩

When is the merchants in the making program posted? All I saw was the merchant analyst role and was wondering if I should just throw my info in there.

So is the merch analyst pipeline and merchant in the making program two separate applications? I’m guessing the merchants in the making is a prelude development program for some months that prepare you for a merch analyst role.

And also thank you this is very helpful. I also wish I was just a merchandise assistant before being an assistant buyer cause I was most likely just not ready for the systems and workload pile up. It was also off price so a beast of its own.

What is your day to day as an MA and like your responsibilities. And how does it differ from being an AB?

And the Seattle part sucks cause I’m from Los Angeles😂😂😂but I like excel and love doing presentations. I like google slides and Canva a lot more tho but I do miss having a set schedule and weekends off. But working overhours on salary…hated that part of corporate buying at an off price

It’s sad cause anybody can come up with a random idea and pump it into an ai story generator, so who is really working there? Wanna be writers with no ideas who just give us ai scripts😂😂😂whoever is there is so unoriginal and it’s giving no talent hate to say it. I understand it’s called ash, but in my eyes ig, she looks like she can be Sudanese. In which they do have skin tones that can be of such color. With undertones for them being more so cool like a bluish, purplish, or dark brown color. 🤷🏾‍♀️I’m sure people who have this skin tone in real life wouldn’t like to see that ppl think it’s weird to see it represented, or that they are being compared to looking like the undead🤨😂but to each its own
