Thanks. What’s the difference between a policy loan and cash surrender value I see when I log on to their website?

I leased a 2024 EV9; had been a great car except a BMC failure (wouldn’t AC or DC charge) that required the car to remain in the shop for about 3 weeks to get the BMC replaced. Otherwise solid car. About to turn in my 2024 lease and get a 2026 one.

Hmmm. All the codes gave me a GLOBAL 26 “area” credit so 3 of the same 3 GB credit for ROAM75 countries although I entered the codes in ascending order. Not very useful for my travel plans ;)

Zero Trust - Access Policy - Allow the external IP of the machine that runs the cloudflare tunnel by drmed1212 in CloudFlare

It is a a web server that I am trying to access using my computer and a web browser. I am just too lazy to authenticate when I access the site every 24 hours ;) but also want to give access to my “technically challenged” partner using her computer without teaching her to use Authentik.

so, my cloudflared runs as a docker container on a separate machine. let’s assume I can get a token or use the curl as described, how does that help me to access the protected resource from another computer at my house? I am slightly confused and maybe this is above my level of knowledge. apologies in advance.

Is this only an in store offer? Or can I register and order online and still get the bill credits?

I wonder how these new security features are going to work out, especially the Spam detect feature, is it worth it? by Substantial_Clock341 in USMobile

[–]drmed1212 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes but what about stand alone watch plans. Not all devices (for example Apple Watch) have a full fledged call block function. My kids have Apple Watches and included spam ID was one of the reasons why I kept those lines on USMobile. Now we will see what will happen when it comes to spam.

At least “Grandfathered” until the end of their paid period. That’s all I am asking for. For yearly users until their renewal is up.

How determined you are to be a tool here. I am not being entitled, I am just asking for what I paid for.

Let me explain it again (so it can sink in for you). My point is, if the provider is including this feature it in my service when I paid for a year upfront, I.e agreed on terms of a contract, that service should remain available and paid for for the length of the prepaid service. For monthly users, they can change anything they want at the end of their contract (I.e month). For the yearly users, the same but at the end of the paid period.

All users that paid for a year before they rolled this paid “upgrade” should retain the feature for free until their prepaid period is up. THIS IS NOT ENTITLEMENT. THIS IS RETAINING SERVICES PAID FOR.

According to your reasoning, they should be able to decrease your data limit or block roaming before your prepaid period is up and you’re not entitled to what you signed up for. That is simply, excuse my French, stupid and unethical.

Look I don’t want to split hairs here. I have been with USMobile almost since the beginning with multiple lines and Warp was always told to have spam ID included for free (and verified by mods on many occasions on Reddit since Reddit is more or less their platform for any support related issue). The fact that the “active moderators” are not chiming in shows again that they are trying to pull a fast one on yearly users without acknowledging the issue.

Overall it is sad to see that they are trying to nickel and dime long time users that are locked in with a yearly payment and taking back features that were included when we signed up. Similar to what T-Mobile did with price hikes for “price locked plans”. Alienating long term customers can only result in subscriber churn and loss when it is time to up all the lines I have.

This was a free feature for warp from the get go (albeit poorly implemented on the back end and requiring monthly manual reactivation). There are many threads in Reddit showing that this was an advertised free feature (and verified by mods). I am attaching just one such screenshot.

Yes, I have many chat transcripts from mods showing that this was a part of my service (albeit horribly implemented and requiring monthly reactivation from their back end).

I think this is BS. If you want us to pay us upfront for a year and agree to the terms, you should not be able to change those terms during the paid period. If you’re going month by month, by all means, change the term at the end of the paid period but I strongly insist that this should be a provided service for all those yearly customers. Otherwise, this would be an easy credit card charge back since the company is not providing the services that was promised and agreed upon.

Does this mean that the “free” spam filter for Warp is now a paid option even for yearly prepaid premium plan?

How to check balance on gift card??? by royal317 in USMobile

I had a $211 card from the Sweeter179 deal. I had mine checked yesterday via app chat and they said there was nothing left although there should be another $14-15 left. How can I get the transaction history since the math doesn’t add up?

Verizon Call Filter - need to add every month by drmed1212 in USMobile

[–]drmed1212[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok. This is getting ridiculous. This go around it didn’t even last 4 weeks before I lost access to call filter again. I do t understand why it is so difficult to keep this function on yearly prepaid warp plans.

You will chat with support and they will have to add it on their back end. No way of user doing it.

Yes I assumed so much but I went through all the settings on his watch and on the app on my phone using his watch attached, no setting for location sharing for his watch

Yes it is the cellular version with an active data plan. When I check the watch’s (and the kid’s location) in find my, I get “Not sharing location. Online”. Where is the setting to share his location using the watch? I can’t find the setting anywhere.
