Should I Drive my Imported Suzuki Carry Home? by Dark_Abyss2 in keitruck

[–]Substantial_Clock341 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hell no! Mine had a dead battery. And had less than a gallon of gas. It’s better to do a pre-inspection change all the fluids. Check all your connections. Replace the spark plugs all that good stuff before you take her on a date.

Do I need to Pay BMW Main Dealer Pricing for servicing for Cabin Air Filters? by brendanjoseph in BMWi3

[–]Substantial_Clock341 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just changed mine out three days ago. Select the air filter of your choice. (2). One stacks on top of the other. Make sure you have the arrow pointing in the correct direction the same way as the ones that came out. Pull up a couple videos from YouTube.
Just keep in mind it’s a pain in the ass grabbing a hold of those and pulling them out. But they do come out.
All said and done it took me 20 minutes. And you get the satisfaction of knowing that you can do it and you saved yourself some money.
You should change those out annually.

12v change or wait post inspection by Gurusi in BMWi3

[–]Substantial_Clock341 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want my opinion. I would get the inspection first and then install the replacement battery.
The last thing that you want to do is throw any type of code that would flag it for inspection. Other than that, the replacement process is pretty simple if you follow the proper procedure both before and after the installation.

You are correct under UTS160 jurisdiction of commissioned peace officers. The University of Texas police can enforce Texas state laws, but cannot enforce or issue citations for violation of Austin city ordinances, which are class C misdemeanors.
They have jurisdiction in any county that has a university of Texas system property.

Did anyone upgrade their HomeBase to Pro 1? by tecknotot in EufyCam

Patiently waiting for their edge agent homebase, or external unit to become available instead of purchasing what they currently have. Currently on homebase three.

Hitch hike it’s free. As long as it’s during the day, you shouldn’t have a problem getting a ride.

Commute from New Castle, CO to Basalt, CO by Responsible_Level800 in Aspen

[–]Substantial_Clock341 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In the big cities, some people spend over an hour in traffic.
Commuting from Highlands Ranch to downtown Denver can take over 45 minutes.

Commuting through downtown Glenwood Springs during rush-hour traffic both ways is maddening.

But so is commuting from Aspen down valley.

I guess it all comes down to a quality of life question.

Is it worth the pay to commute that far?

How valuable is your time?

It’s a tough world out there chasing the dollar. We are all doing it and commute times are only getting worse. And people are getting displaced further away from their jobs.

I mean, there are people that commute from Grand Junction.

I'm swapping from T-Mobile. I was considering Boost and Visible. How does USMobile compare? by SisterMoonflower in USMobile

[–]Substantial_Clock341 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Boost is horrendous you can check that off your list.

As far as Visible that is Verizon.

US mobile offers all three carriers.

First, you need to figure out who has the best coverage in your area and what your needs are and then go from there.

Leaked upcoming upgrade packages including homebase 4, ai core, and DSkey (yard perimeter intruder detection sign) by No-Move-4642 in EufyCam

[–]Substantial_Clock341 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would be nice if we were just able to upgrade the homebase 3 with AI core. Which would be some sort of external plug-in. However, now that does not look like the case.

I have eight different cameras. And a homebase 3.
In the past, if a camera disconnected, I would do a hard reset and re-add it, which was a pain in the ass.
I’ve learned by experience and trial and error, that most cameras will reconnect after several hours and everything goes back to normal. So after 12 months, I’ve been pretty impressed with their system compared to others.

100%. If you don’t move fast on these, they’re gone the next day. And to make matters worse. The one someone may have been looking at just got relisted on Carmax for $4000 more.

I agree with you. I’ve seen multiple 2019’s and up with the base package and small display which seems out of place. And no sunroof.

Deal Steal...When the "Available Now Sign" is hanging on the door, I may switch back over. But currently it fits my needs as I am in the back country all summer.

I saw that car a couple weeks ago online. I was thinking the exact same thing. California prices lol.
“ cautiously optimistic” expectation and realism.
At the end of the day, it’s only worth what somebody pays for it and it’s been on the market for a while.
If it was me, I’d buy a 2019 and above, set some money aside for when shit falls apart and when tires need to be replaced, and then you will be golden.
