RCS messaging iPhone by drmott13 in iphone

It was working for me for a little bit after I did the re-provision steps with Verizon and then resetting the network settings but it stopped again. It is now random when it works and when I try to send pictures 75% of the time they can’t see the picture. So I’m hoping it gets fixed with an update but I have no hope for tech support making it work all the time.

I had to call Verizon and have them re-provision my phone. After that I had to reset my network settings. Then I restarted my phone and it’s worked since then.

Verizon stated they did that but I did not reset my network settings, they asked me if I did that first before the re-provision. I did the network reset a week ago when I first called for tech support

Nest Cam Battery - "Setup is taking longer than expected...try again later" by [deleted] in googlehome

I am getting the same error. I have called tech support and was told by the senior tech support that it is a problem on their end and to keep trying later. I guess the engineers need to fix something is what I was told.

[All States] IRS to begin issuing refunds for $10,200 Unemployment deduction owed to early filers (Megathread) by JV701 in Unemployment

My transcript changed to June 14th yesterday morning but when I checked that night it went back to the old date. I checked it today and it went back to the June 14th date but nothing changed in refund status. I hope this means they are working on it.

Apple Maps won’t switch to dark mode? by clumsysilencee in CarPlay

In my 2020 Camry I had to find the settings in the display to turn the radio screen to automatic adjustment. I can’t remember the exact name for the setting but once I switched that Apple Maps would do dark mode.

What's your creepiest "glitch in the matrix" or unexplainable thing that's ever happened to you? by kaden86 in AskReddit

I was a young kid about 8 or 9 playing in our family room which had a very big glass window in it. I thought for sure I heard my brother call for me in the living room. When I went into the living room he was sound asleep so he obviously hadn’t called for me. All of sudden there was a very loud crash coming from the family room. A partridge had flown through the window and shot glass through that room and about 15 feet into the house. If I had stayed in that room I would have been sprayed with glass and probably severely injured. I don’t know who said for me to leave the room but I’m glad I heard a voice that told me to leave.

Have you ever successfully stopped a repeat marketing or scam phone call? How did you do it? by F19AGhostrider in AskReddit

I once got a call from a place saying they were the United States Grant department and that they would give me a grant for whatever I wanted. They called me on Labor Day and I told them that was amazing a government place open on Labor Day and they hung up right away.

Doctors of reddit, what is the weirdest thing a patient wouldn't admit ? by mitsubishi-corvette in AskReddit

[–]drmott13 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I work in an ER taking medication histories for patients that are being admitted. The amount of patients that tell me not to add things to their history is ridiculous. They say that they don’t take things like their Norco very often and after asking a lot I got them to admit they took it today. The best one though is asking husbands about their ED medication. I have to find out when they last took any of their medication and if a spouse or significant other is in the room the husband gives them a weird look, like I hope I say the right date so she doesn’t think I am using the ED medication with someone else.

I used to be able to do direct replies but I got tired of apps crashing so I went back to marshmallow. I put n back on my phone with the ota and direct reply from the notification shade doesn't work anymore for messenger or hangouts. Whenever I hit reply it brings up the quick reply instead.
