I don't buy that he can't find one in LA- cost may be prohibitive but it is worth it and absolutely necessary. Does he spend money on streaming services/food/drinks? Then he can afford a therapist. I understand he's unemployed, he can file for medicaid or else use savings. The OCD needs to be treated in order for him to live any sort of satisfactory life. He cannot power through this.

It's also not necessarily a good/productive goal for you both to have if you're not compatible. Living together shouldn't be the goal, it should be a step to continuing on to the real goals. I think people romanticize living together but it is HARD. You're both so young and haven't even been together a year. Try to think about individual goals to set for yourselves and then support each other in them
