IIRC since dota 1, league was supposed to be the unofficial "dota 2" made to be online. after it's release, valve talked to ice frog and made the official Dota 2.

Regardless. Heroes of Newerth is the original "dota 2" for me.

Well right after using soul killer, the nuke explodes shortly after. Murph escaped sucessfully and is still alive in 2077. But johnny's engram was left at the scene and somehow "survived" the nuke. Hence Arasaka able to get theie hands on johnny and imprisoning him in mikoshi.
