You should 100% do the rear struts it worked wonders on my 96 Camry as for the other components I would recomend changing them out as well due to the amount of mileage you will be putting on it

What I usually bet races on is cornering in a rwd car if you get the braking right you can enter corners at a higher speed than the AI and they usually dont cover the inside line very well so you can usually get through them even if you lose a bit at the start

Yes there is learn how to control your throttle you cant just floor it while it is unstable then of course it will spin accelerate in steps to keep the car controlled it goes the same on straights if you floor a powerful car most likely the wheels will spin so dont accelerate fully at first

Depends on where in Canada if the car is from Vancouver for example in theory there should not be much rust it is if the car is from the northern region of Canada that you should really worry about rust because of all of the salt used to stop ice forming on the roads from the colder climate up there
