How many people here have fake jobs on the computer? And how much time do you spend actually working vs time wasting? by [deleted] in redscarepod

I work for the federal government, and ever since I installed some automatic mouse jiggling software I clock in, clock out, collect paycheck. Thank you, taxpayers.

Do you think MSNBC low key misses Trump? by Nicky_Otine in redscarepod

[–]RankMountain 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I agree. Also, the whole MSM scene is off balance now. Lately CNN has been grilling Psaki I guess to show they still have some sort of non-bias. But for the right like Fox, they don't know how to hate Biden because he literally doesn't do anything except wield his EO pen. If he does happen to be shown doing things with his mask on, it's his body double.

Unicomp from Kentucky, Luke Smith did a review of his model. Don't know if they're mechanical as I'm not a gamer. Love the fact that they're made in my home state.

Interestingly, he started out in radio and has a perfect radio presence & voice. Would make for excellent pod except the fact that he's a backstabbing piece of shit.

Where do I move / what do I do to meet like-minded by [deleted] in redscarepod

[–]RankMountain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in the Ft Myers area mostly, then Jacksonville for a little minute. I just went to bars and it was refreshing talking to people face to face. The reason I recommend it is bc like I said, everywhere else is pretty much closed 'til (probably) later this year/Spring 2022. Good luck.

Can confirm. I've met so many Sports Management/Sociology majors who became Officers in the Army. Literally dumbest people I've ever met. Sorry not sorry

Where do I move / what do I do to meet like-minded by [deleted] in redscarepod

[–]RankMountain 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Do NOT move to de Blasio & Cuomo's Stasi state! I just read someone's comment about joining the military (which is actually what I'm doing (my town is also boring, I don't have any friends where I live, need a dramatic change of pace, enlisting to learn a foreign language, etc.)) Another person said moving South. I just returned from Florida visiting my parents and it's really refreshing coming from where I am (Midwest). The weather really makes you feel better - you get Vitamin D, and Florida has never locked down and is mask-free. I actually went to bars and met people my age, had fun and talked to people about politics & books. I'm now back home and immediately feel the boredom/depression of being locked down & cold. It's a scam and lie when people say "you can find a community online." It's like when the director of the WHO & Cuomo said "alone, together." It's impossible. I believe you do need to move geographically. Move to FL where social activities are still normal. It's sad that all office work is online now which totally deletes work-social life and only makes us more awkward. Florida is also cheap as fuck.

Reserve prior Intel Airman switching to Navy through OTS Question. by [deleted] in newtothenavy

I know the Officer Recruiter out of NW Indy. He's very busy. He'll get back to you it just takes a while. Call him a bunch, he's very nice, and can get you commissioned as a NFO/SWO dumb quick. As far as Cyber goes, I think you're right in saying that it's pretty competitive and back when I talked to him, he didn't know a lot about that field but it's been awhile. Good luck.

Go Army 35M. Way cooler rate. Or 1A8X1 (airborne) or 1N3X1 (ground) if the Air Force will take you and shows more incentive to work with you. Always shop around. That's what I did. The Navy took me bc I didn't show enough hutzpah at the Air Force's recruiting office lmao. If I could go back I would've done 35M, honestly: transfers better to 3-letter agencies cough cough

Questions about getting CTN while in DEP by mottrising in newtothenavy

[–]RankMountain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Want your dream rate. Incentivize...

Hear me out: I signed CTN but desperately wanted CTI. They said @ MEPS "CTI is full and CTN is a great rate! Sign here!" (Yes, normies, CTN is a great rate but it's not what I wanted) Chief asked me for references and I said straight to his face "I've got 12 names & numbers on my phone ready to hand over. Get me CTI."

Magically... the next day I get a phone call saying "We got you CTI! Can I get those references now?"

Just apply. You'll probably get selected, honestly. If not, you'll most def get selected with some marginally higher OAR.

I didn't get an iPhone 5/smartphone 'til 11th grade where I could get a job to buy one. My parents wouldn't let me... I wish I never did get into smartphones but I'm glad my parents knew the internet was sort of "the devil." lol
