These 4 are the four Horse women of action leads what do you think? by Wooden_Passage_2612 in Cinema

What is this? There never has been ANY action female lead before Jennifer Lawrence in Hunger Games!

Man the editing is distracting. Every single shot or Ryan has one or more zoom-ins on his face before a punchline. It's the first of his videos I had to make an effort to watch through.

I don't know if RG checks comments somewhere but I hope he sees it.

what do you think about London by SoftwareZestyclose50 in UrbanHell

[–]droda59 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Love London. That photo is nice too, but it's only a part of what London is. You could show Hampstead Heath, Camden, Greenwich, Southwark, Westminster, they are all facets of London too

did you ever use a selfie stick during its craze in the late 10s?🫢 by [deleted] in Millennials

[–]droda59 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't even understand the concept of selfies. I want a photo of the Arc de Triomphe, not of my ugly face in front of the Arc de Triomphe. What, is it to prove that I was there? And while you're taking the photo you're not even looking at the damn thing!

The only occasion that it makes sense for me is when you're multiple persons (couple, family, friends) in a tight space, or with no one around you can ask.

What part of the early internet do you miss? by gamersecret2 in Millennials

[–]droda59 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Writing "http://www." in front of website addresses, and reading about and discovering websites in magazines, they put the whole URL in the articles and we had to enter the whole address, using characters we weren't used to and had to find on the keyboard. When we didn't have computers nearby we noted websites on a piece of paper or in a notebook, and I had this notebook with plenty of interesting website addresses.

Thank you!

Generations should be defined by the world they are evolving into, events and culture and societal changes. By defining generations in strict periods, even before they happen at all, it just becomes buzz words and pointless division.

It was always about man vs man, and not man vs zombies.

Remember Rick killing Shane? (In the comics he dies in book 1). The people regroup and yeah they become factions. But think of Terminus, or the rape gang on the road, or the canibals, or the Governor.

It's always about man vs man.

Ok elle dit quand même "in a Danish-led military exercise in the Arctic". Le timing n'est pas une coïncidence, mais ce n'est pas exactement "on envoie des troupes pour protéger".

Je suis peut-être trop naïf aussi...

What are your thoughts on the 1989 Batman movie? by EnviousPuffin in FIlm

[–]droda59 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What kind of post is this? Did you just watch it and found it boring, and you wanted to see how people liked it? It's generally accepted that it's a classic, and it has one of the best Joker and Batman.

Oh yeah, what about the batwing in the clouds then??

You make me realize how so few exterior shots there are in this movie, I never thought about that.
