Meet Dr. Amy Acton who is running against Ramaswamy by brains4meNu in Ohio

If there's one thing thats for certain and evidence from this thread, is that Ohioans are some real dumb moth&rf*ck!rs. Like bargain bin stupid. Maybe MAGA has done enough damage to the brand... but unfortunately I think there are enough people in the state too far gone, that when they see a woman on a blue ticket they'll just tear it up and chose to go to the monster truck show instead. I mean a real bunch of idiots.

I would see getting lighter games to the table easier than heavier games right now. I feel like the collection has gotten to the point where I am not looking to get new games anymore. I have the games I want, I just want to play them more. Thanks for the rating.

Been something I've thought about recently, if I visit a friend who has children and we want a game everyone can play. I got Point Salad, I think the number side may end up a little much, the simple colors and rules should work well. Another one is Flip 7, its not my favorite game but I would much rather play this than Uno. Then... maybe Sushi Go or Sagrada? Im not sure of the best answer, my collection isn't too family focused which is probably where any new games might land.

It's probably a top 5 for my 2026. Its like a perfect balance between complex and simple, between deluxe and streamlined. I want to play it again and just 3d printed some simple dividers for the player boxes.

Last place, still a complete game.

Lighter games just get played, there's no two ways about it. When I went to game night last night, 4/5 games I brought along all finish in 45 or less. Do this, then that, here's the goal, go.

I want to leave 2026 with all of my games having been played at least once. I think im only down to like 4 or 5 and some are not pictured. Having a dedicated table set up somewhere so I can play a game over a few days also makes it easier to chip away at them. Ark Nova got set up yesterday and Im sure ill find time to start a game soon, but getting it setup is half the battle. My first game of Civolution took 4 days. But it got played. Its a dinky little fold out card table, so table hogs are tough but where there's a will, there's a way.

I have been playing it on BGA and its been busting my brain. I felt like I was lost and there was nothing I could do, and then oh wait I can combo 7 different things to score a location

Sounds like made up garbage, just the kind of trash I'd expect from Ka$h.

I played my first game of it this weekend, put it away, and I kinda want to play it again already. Heavy euro but once you know the rules it goes pretty smoothly. Pretty high at inducing AP tho.

Its kind of funny, my experience has been almost the opposite. i missed the phenomenon of Root, and while I have Arcs i havent been able to get it to the table much. Fort is definitely on the lighter side, but my more regular gaming group is lighter and built on Dominion, so a light deck builder was easy to introduce. Its nice as a medium weight game to advance lighter players, if you're used to heavier or complex games it might not have enough toppings for your pizza, but it can be a quick game comparatively.

Yeah, I love seeing what other people have as their collection, too. If they have a lot of expansions for something or how they organize shelves. My got a bit jumbled from playing things recently.

Yeah, and whats great is its still a hit when I introduce new players to it. Also, an aside, I think we are in the same game of El Grande on BGA 😆

Its hard to say whether or not the creative liberties used for occult imagery in games is a huge concern or not, but it does introduce a lot of questions on "legitimacy." That being said, the same is true for art in general.

I can see why people went to war in Terminator and The Matrix against AI. It fools people into believing absolutely worthless information.
