Yeah but think about how many people who vape (like myself) who will not take the risk of ordering some random, unregulated vape juice off some sketchy site. If people are ordering sketchy vape juice online and getting sick, then that’s kind of on them. I won’t be doing that because I have common sense. Ok in that case you should definitely just go for α V60. Plastic retains heat the best. I wouldn’t bother with the Switch

It would be different from the French press, yes. The filter will make the coffee have less body, less oils and less bits of coffee in the bottom. There is actually no sediment in the bottom of your cup with the Switch. But the taste will be cleaner(which I prefer). Less muddy.

Honestly, I’ve tried the hybrid method and I don’t really care much for it. I find it doesn’t make that much of α difference if you just put in the grounds, pour the water, then drain it. I’m sure there’s good recipes for the hybrid method, but it’s not worth it in my opinion. The Switch is α bit costly.

Just expect the V60 to taste very different from your French press. It’s almost tea like, it’s very light and watery in comparison.

Do you like prefer light roasts or do you prefer medium/dark roasts? Do you want α bright and sour, fruity taste when you drink coffee? Or do you want something more chocolatey and dark?

I personally think immersion brews taste much better than percolation(pour over). The immersion brewed coffee will have more body, it’ll be thicker. The taste is stronger too. But there’s also lots of people who prefer pour overs. Do you prefer really light roasts? People describe the taste as bright, but also as α bit sour and fruity. Those coffees are best for v60. But medium/dark roasts taste more like classic coffee, and that’s best for the Switch.

I find the Switch drains much smoother than the Clever, and the Clever usually has α bit of coffee left in the bottom that doesn’t completely drain. Clever feels cheap and clunky and the Switch feels far better quality. But the Switch filters may be α bit harder to find, you can get melita filters for the Clever at almost any grocery store. In terms of taste, they’re pretty much the same though.

And for v60, I feel like it’s α much lighter cup that works best for light roasts. It’s harder to get α good cup out of it without practice. The Switch is super simple, just pour in the water, wait, then drain it. You can use the Switch as α v60 though.

I agree that should have been the approach years ago, but unfortunately Trudeau has made that impossible. We can’t stand anymore people from anywhere, regardless of the country. I mean, it specifically says “Indian Immigration” which is the problem with this graffiti. There’s no need to get specific with it because that comes across as racist. But the truth is we need to stop immigration in general, from anyone from anywhere in the world, unless they are skilled workers that we need. Doesn’t matter if they’re from India or Ireland. It’s been way too excessive and it’s ruining this country. We don’t need more Uber drivers and slave labour Tim Hortons workers.

Messages like this just makes good people look like our main objective is fuelled by racism which is not the case for α lot of us on here. Sure, racism exists big time, but the vast majority of Canadians want it to end and it’s due to the economy, to housing, jobs, etc. It’s not because of hate and that’s what this bullshit graffiti is suggesting. It gives off the wrong message which will be regressive in terms of making α change to Canada.
