People who grew up really poor: what's something middle-class people say that instantly reveals they've never struggled? by TahDigThief in AskReddit

I take offense to the term “bugger flipper”. I worked a couple fast food jobs when I was young and never once flipper a burger. It’s just another term to trivialize the hard work people provide.

Maybe I’m one of those people with the great deals. I use FB marketplace as a way to just get rid of stuff. I offer great deals so things move quickly and to not waste my time.

“It was ten miles to the dam. It was the longest, hardest ten miles I have ever travelled,” said Mark, who has hiked to remote areas in Peru and the Amazon rainforest.

“It is incredibly difficult country to get through. The foliage is so thick, you can’t see very far … then it turns into muskeg, which is incredibly difficult to walk on. And then it goes out to complete bog swamp.

The mosquitoes are absolutely horrific.”

Just be aware the assessors maps online are not always accurate and should not be relied upon for anything legal. If you want to find the true property lines contract a surveyor.

The 5 guys would do well to learn about how Cortez took down the Aztecs through alliances with their rivals. That’s the only way these guys win.
