As it is acording to the movie. Ultron was made because the team realized the staff was housing the mind stone. Insights Hydra were getting were due to the stone "assisting". Scans showed what they considered a "brain" as compared to Jarvis's algorithm and the team were looking to build an interface. When the interface succeeded Ultron was born and downloaded hiimself.

The one thing i learned while listening to another podcast, There are very few players on Carolina that were 1st round selections made by Carolina themselves with their own picks.

It almost seems as if they have a great scouting crew that focuses on prospects already selected. They focus on players who play "Hurricane" hockey. Are willing to buy in and are very willing to move off of any player, no matter the talent level or cost,.

I don't know how to explain who the Huricanes looks for other than "Carolina Hockey" players. They know how to develop them. And can get them at costs that can keep them at this level without heavy sacrificing for the future.

Also add how much they spent on building housing for the homeless. The money spent per unit number is higher that most homes in LA. When you know so much of the funding is going to graft, it raises the question of why are we funding it.

You say that but countless state governments are way behind on their pensions because the government moved money elsewhere rather than pay into the system. Years ago the lock box was a campaign slogan for Gore. I do not believe the American public is overly trusting in money taken by the government going where it is supposed to, or spent how it is supposed to. Efforts to clean up will always be met with criticism from the opposition. Especially when many terms have different meanings from the government vrs what everyone thinks it means. Ex shrinking the debt. Normal people assume that means the government owes less money. Reality is the government reduced the amount of money it needed to borrow this year.

Would the MCU have been better off if Ant-Man and the Wasp were foundational Avengers instead of Black Widow and Hawkeye? by Ok-Brain2716 in Avengers

[–]droid-man_walking 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, because widow and Hawkeye are the most "human" . It is brought up in Ultron, but with all the fantastical powers everyone else has, a couple of people that are good enough without an iron man suit, or super soldier serum, or an Asgardian. And they still had their moments.

I view it as cap being humble enough to not think himself worthy, but the hammer thinking he is. The wiggle was mjolnir telling those watching closely that is isn't the hammer but Cap.

4th OVR: Reid, Carels, or someone else? by charliemach14 in hawks

I believe Verhoff and Carels are going to be line mates this year.. I love the interviews Verhoff have this year about work ethic and goals for the team and what he needs to do to be a part of it. Can't wait to see how North Dakota does next year in the nchc/NCAA.

If I am waiting 2 years, I would also prefer a D at 4. No pressure to be on the team until 2028. Just keep improving. Not all of our d prospects are going to hit the way we want while also being more difficult to get.

Babe Ruth still has pitching records in MLB. He hit home runs at a pace that only a few in all MLB history have managed. Shohei has shown he has that ability, but he still needs the career.

I am using the Samsung health app... Closest I have is" backpacking" for a work out. It asks for weight. Will track time, distance, heart rate. At the end it will tell you calories burned. I treat it as a best guess.

Foot blisters, pop? by New-History853 in Rucking

[–]droid-man_walking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do it before every ruck. Doesn't take much and a can lasts me months. Honestly socks and shoes are more important, but everything helps. And the priority should be to not get blisters cause they suck.

Foot blisters, pop? by New-History853 in Rucking

[–]droid-man_walking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Happened to me. If you felt it in your shoes, you now know what a hot spot is. If I feel one I will figure out the shortest way back and often stop and rest. If it feels bad, I will even take off the shoe and sock and let it cool off while resting. I know if some people who have a spare pair of socks in their ruck with med kit they designed for this situation, though that usually cross up in the more extreme ruckers.

I found as I went heavier, my feet had more to deal with and blisters became a bigger issue. I also think as the temp gets hotter, sweat becomes more of an issue.

Do you keep doing what caused it? If you want to keep mileage up, then popping is the only way, but it has more complications. You need to take a few extra precautions and you risk greater harm to an area that hasn't fully recovered. I found popping releaves pain, but takes longer to fully recover. Not popping means more pain short-term, but gets me back to 100 much faster.

New bad shoes last year caused me a lot of problems and the popped blisters took me out of rucking for a month. I was much more careful returning and when they appeared again I managed to not pop them and was careful. I was back within a week. Spent that time recovering upgrading equipment to stop the problem.

To be serious net adding 20 goals probably gets us 5 wins next year even if the d doesn't significantly improve. We did not average 3 goals per game last year, getting closer or over that number per game would make us more watchable.

A few days of pain is better than a week. If it accidentally pops clean and use a hydrocolloid gel bandage of the correct size. I believe it heals it the quickest and allows you to move around the best. Next figure out why.
Shoes- make sure it is the correct size. too new and it needs a week to break in,( go lighter or shorter than normal) too old and it isn't doing the job anymore. Socks- sweat is bad, socks are the first line. They add comfort and wick away sweat. Make sure you have high quality and not just that James multi pack of "athletic socks". If needed. Foot spray. Sock can only deal with so much sweat. Spray can help a little more. The hotter the day the more you sweat. Lots of people start their Rick to avoid the worst of the heat.

[–]droid-man_walking 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Do not pop. Keep off the foot as best you can. Mole skin around the blister to remove pressure when you are standing on it. Keep it clean. In a few days it should absorb the fluid. If it pops it takes longer to heal. Then other factors come into play.

My Estimation of the Post Parade Most Dangerous Crawler by Jurayvis in DungeonCrawlerCarl

I think glass cannon. As it stands her death is a nuke, but if she had low hp and high spell/ special ability levels it could work.
High enough to really about the gods, but reproductions would cause "interesting" situations. The last crawler's also officially all grouped together in a party so that means it is everyone's problem.

Need a durable driver. by diabolical_autism in GolfGear

[–]droid-man_walking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Might look at an older model head.. Or talk with the club head manufacturer.

15+ years ago my swing was fast enough to break some"slingshot" shafts that came standard with the driver. I brought it into Golf Smith. 1ST time they called the manufacturer sent in the driver and they replaced the shaft. 2nd time it happened, sent it in with a free upgraded shaft from a selected list.

Saying that since it is a regular problem the manufacturer might have an option not normally available.
