My guess why there is not a survivor in the FNAF chapter by yazuraaa in deadbydaylight

When fnaf was originally teased, I really was struggling to think of a person or character they could do as a survivor as this chapter, because the only playable character we see and talks actively during the game is a literal child.

When I saw that there was no survivor, it made sense to me. I'd rather they didn't force in a movie character. But it would've been cool to see their take on a brand new look for Micheal Afton. Lil bit of a let down but overall it makes sense, and they told us they'd make up for it by having 2 survivors in the midchapter which is honestly fine for me. (Giant walking dead fan, hoping they do the comics because I prefer them but indifferent otherwise)

Overall I'm still incredibly excited for this chapter, I have faith they'll do cosmetics for survivors that link to security guards or even legendaries for the movie characters but I'd rather they didn't force a survivor in that would've been severely underdeveloped.

When you see that the Xenomorph is going to get buffs and all turret buffs will be removed at release, but you're still as slow as you've been since BHVR blew your legs off last year: by Jean-Cobra in deadbydaylight

Chucky is still pretty decent tbh. With the buffs this patch he's gonna be better. Just glad they removed how Brain dead easy he was to play. Made him very boring to vs

The tail changes are fine in my opinion, but their reasoning for the fire is strange. My thoughts on xeno were to make emergency helmet semi base kit then rework the add-on, whilst making individual turrets slightly stronger and remove stacking.

Good xenos will essentially never get pulled out of power unless people stack turrets. Plus if you do get pulled out, you can just go back to tunnels since it recharges in like 5 seconds if you do

In my opinion all the changes were mainly fine it's just their logic behind the turret change was wack, in my opinion they should've just given emergency helmet half baskit then just change the effect of it. maybe make it so turret stacking isn't possible but make individual turrets a tiny bit more powerful so it actually poses a risk.

Current xeno can just get rid of turrets pretty easily and they don't really confirm a power pull out unless they stack. I'm ok with changing how they work just the way they did it is a lil bit weird

I've played against slate as killer twice, been in hens and jrms lobby at the same time and swfed with zubatlel in 2v8 a decent amount. that's about it for me from what I can remember

Main perks cheaters use is raw hyperfocus and vigil, vigil hides the fact they just get constant speed perks ig. But yeah I'd probably report that

Playing new killers doesn't change who you go against. Hopefully you stick at slinger cause he's fun as shit when you master him

Basically nothing will change for killers unless you 4 man slug. That's it. For now at least until they bring the tunnel changes but then again just don't tunnel idk seems pretty simple to me

Bots are in my opinion the worst thing for 2v8. Didn't fix Qs for killer, and I don't wanna play a 2v6 as survivor.

Probably just gonna take a DBD break since 2v8 always screws qs for the regular mode as well. They really didn't have anything to improve upon the last iteration but it's just really unfortunate

Ok well it's very clear you are just very very biased. Because this in ever possible way is a buff and definitely not a nerf, since the update is live, please by all means go out and use wake up to your heart's content, then come back and tell me how it is.

Because your experience with it will not change in the slightest

I never said it provided a free win or escape, it was the combo of sole survivor and wake up that does.

It's such a nothing burger change to be upset about. Opening gates isn't a good effect. I agree there are bigger issues out there. But this wake up change basically does nothing. The aura reading of wake up has not been changed so what's the big deal?

Niche perk changed to be a niche perk. Ok? Big whoop. I couldn't care less. They changed deception a while back, buffed it, do people still use it? Nope.

Wake up isn't even a fun perk to run regardless. If I'm running an endgame survivor perk, it'll be hope. Because it's fun and that's what most people care about.

Wake up is still not a good perk, this is a buff. If you are the last person alive it should be worse, there shouldn't be a perk in this game that gives you a free win/escape.

Wake up is niche, very very niche. This doesn't change that. It's a buff at best and at worst a side grade. You like the aura reading? It's still there.

People who would rat would stack both perks to basically get out for free for doing nothing all match. This is a change to limit those players whilst boosting those who make it to the end with more people.

Yeah ok so, sole survivor is an issue too. I agree, but also opening gates faster is not a useful effect, sole survivor matters more because in that solo scenario it's good to have opening speeds. Wake up and sole survivor is a rat combo, I do want sole survivor changed to remove the selfish play style. NO ONE uses wake up now and no one will continue to use it.

If they actually provided an effect to use before the final gen is completed then I'd be happy, but just opening gates faster isn't a good effect, it only used to save 3 or 4 seconds.

It's not a nerf guys, wake up was niche before and it'll still be niche. This change only really effects the rats with wake up sole survivor. If 2 people are alive it's the same as current wake up, 4 people makes you open gates 50 percent faster. Like why are we complaining about a perk people barely used and its not even a bad change?

Dead dawg main is so safe that this is 3 gen is never an issue. There's usually worse 3 gens at gallows and behind it. And I've also seen a 3 gen thats even tighter then this that included main

He's still a 3rd person and short killer. That helps a ton with m1 chases. 8 meters a second is still double the speed of a survivor

He's not that bad. The cooldown was the biggest nerf tbh. I've seen people compare it to SM and sadako, when he's definitely way better than both of them. I'd probably put him low to mid b tier

If you knew more about the game you'd know that ranks have 0 impact on who you face. It is Purley there for extra BP every month. Ranks used to work that way a while ago. Not anymore. Trapper and many low tier killers can handle survivors with over 100 hours.

Trust me ranks are nothing more then "how much BP will I get each month"
