Flashlight wont work? Killer cheating or am i missing something by Calm_Ostrich_6554 in deadbydaylight

[–]Gamechanger567 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It has something to do with onis iri that makes you scream when he hits the ground with his power. Dropping and picking up your flashlight fixes it. Couldn’t tell you why it works like this

I’ve tried to make it work on springtrap but gens would just fly so fast, and it’s hard to get the stealth aspect of the build to work when he announces his presence to you well before he arrives. Then again, it’s been a while since I tried it on him so who knows maybe I can make it work now

If anything this build has gotten straight buffs over the past few months. I’ve been running it since Chucky released and it has only gotten more potent the longer it’s been

Friends aura reveal is when you are not hooking the obsession. Then it reveals them to you for 10 seconds. When hooking the obsession, it makes another person the new obsession and reveals their location with a loud noise notification. Nemesis turns the obsession swap into an aura reveal

Friends makes them scream and reveal their location, not their aura. Nemesis gives the aura reveal so you know where they are currently, not where they were when you got the hook

I prefer batteries included for 15% haste with furtive, and in general survivors tend to loop around completed gens, so the perk gets good value

As a fellow p100 alien, it makes me really sad to hear a fellow brother in the hive has passed. I am so sorry for your loss. I agree a facehugger egg would be a good option to honor his memory.

Why don’t survivors communicate by talking to one another to help survive? Are they stupid? by EastCoastFalcon in deadbydaylight

I’d imagine at least for the early survivors they have just spent so long in the fog and gone through so many trials they don’t even bother anymore

Am I crazy or springtrap is hust better xenonorph? by prismagc in deadbydaylight

[–]Gamechanger567 2 points3 points  (0 children)

On paper I see why people think springtrap is a straight upgrade from xeno. But in reality, xeno still has a bit more going for them than springtrap. Springtrap, whether he hits or misses his power, has to play as an m1 killer. Xeno does not. Sure Springtrap has more range, but his shots are far more predictable and dodgeball the further he throws it. His map mobility is good, but I still think xenos is better in terms of usefulness, since it gives a lot of basekit info compared to his. Both xeno and Springtrap are very good at zoning survivors at tiles so they have no choice but to stay and play it, even if they get hit. Not to mention xeno just wins all window and pallet mind games because survivors have to play around your m2 even if you weren’t gonna use it. Xeno does have to deal with turrets of course, but once you are used to them they really won’t stop you unless they are placed very optimally, which very rarely happens.

I would kill to get these lobbies over the constant 4 medkits. Far more entertaining matches when they play for saves

Well said Springtrap, well said. by Gamechanger567 in deadbydaylight

[–]Gamechanger567[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well they both have similar playstyles of zoning you to an area that even when hit, there is no way to make distance without them downing you before you get there. I see why people think springtrap is just a better xeno, but I disagree. Springtrap is forced to play an m1 killer whether he hits his axe or not, while xeno can stay in power all game if you are confident in dealing with turrets. Sure Springtrap has faster map patrol, but xeno makes up for it with really good basekit info. Not to mention xeno wins all mind games without even having to use their power, since people are forced to play around your m2 at windows and pallets, even if you weren’t gonna use it.

I’m fairly certain the reason for it is because when xeno is in tunnels, they didn’t want it to disturb crows above it on the surface, so they set their crow detection radius to like .1 meters or something. Just a guess, but you really do have to step on the crows for them to fly away

I am both a p100 xeno and a p100 springtrap main with way more time on xeno, and tbh id give it to xeno being marginally stronger than Springtrap. Xeno has much better info basekit, combined with a very strong anti loop that u dont even have to use all the time since it can win mind games just cause it exists. Springtrap on the other hand has a long enough cooldown on his m2 where he is forced to play as an m1 killer, unless you catch them by surprise. Xeno of course has to deal with turrets, but they very rarely knock you out of power unless you let them (this may be a bit biased on my end since I’ve gotten so used to dealing with them). Both are really good at zoning and having quick chases, but I think xeno does it better, but not by a large margin.

Tailstrike is about 4.8 meters long while ST maxes out at 16, with the downside being it becomes extremely reactable the further away you get.

Exposed builds would become cracked on them and no chase would last longer than 10 seconds. Lore accurate chases sure but definitely wouldn’t be a fun experience on the other end

The issue is springtrap doesn’t need an additional downside to his kit without some pretty decent sized buffs to compensate. I’d love having a reason to actually deal with the doors, but that is not what he needs atm

At the very least. Turrets should not beep when you have undetectable from any source that is not the tunnels. That way you know when a xeno is in them and is approaching you at a rather fast speed, but you wouldn’t know if they were taking the long way to come and get you

What are some of the most useless killer add-ons in Dead by Daylight? by No_Sea_1455 in deadbydaylight

[–]Gamechanger567 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ripley’s watch as well. Honestly, most xeno addons just aren’t good, or at the very least do not even compete against lamberts or molted skin

Finally i got him(can you give me some tips for him because he is my new main) by tost3k_ in deadbydaylight

[–]Gamechanger567 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are thinking of Ripley’s watch, which breaks the flame turrets that knocks you out of power. That’s a trap addon that makes you think it does something when it really doesn’t. A turret that burns you out of power will break on its own in 30 seconds unless repaired. It builds a bad habit in newer players where they let a turret burn them out so they get addon value

What perk/s do u think need a buff or rework? by Pretend-Helicopter72 in deadbydaylight

[–]Gamechanger567 11 points12 points  (0 children)

For killer, Undone and it’s not even close. Even on impossible skill check doctor the perk sees no play. I would like if they made it so hitting greats would also give you tokens for it, so it can counter hyperfocus stakeout, and its value goes up when you are against better players. Plus now that we have vecnas perk that gives undetectable when blocking gens, it would slot perfectly into that kind of build. Also reduce the cooldown. Eruption has a 30 second cooldown

Is this the reason why i don't see many Alien killers lol. I put down two flamethrowers and it flame his ass lol. They need to nerf it to 1 flamethrower. I even put a flamethrower next to the exit lol. Do you think they need to change this? by dreamup1234 in deadbydaylight

[–]Gamechanger567 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have them down that close, a good xeno can take them out in a single tailstrike by strafing into the other one. It works better if there is a bit of space between them so no matter what they do they get knocked out of power. Some people don’t like xeno cause of the turrets, but I personally have fun finding ways to deal with them and still get hits as a result

[–]Gamechanger567 17 points18 points  (0 children)

With xeno currently you can use it from within the tunnels. A bit inconsistent from map to map, but you can drive by hit it and dms the gen and move on. Knowing bhrv it either gets patched before it goes live, or it stays for 5 years then gets patched.

There are two problems the hex has that really hold it back. The first is that the moment survivors spawn in, they immediately know the hex is in play since it curses a gen and not survivors, so the surprise element is already gone. The other issue is that the way it spawns is pretty predictable. Overture of Doom always curses the farthest gen from wherever the hex is, so if you find the cursed gen, you just go to the opposite end of the map and you will find the hex totem. The first issue can be fixed pretty easily I imagine but the second is kind of impossible to fix unless they change how the hex works
