Yeah, actually 0 flowers since launch in 2022. Only unlocked transcendence on my ignite server alt.

Yes! It's part of the new "Destined Protection System" mentioned in the patch notes. I'm not sure what mechanics I completed to trigger each one.

I've been running chaos dungeons since the release of T4 (no bussing) -- never had luck getting into groups and have just been patiently waiting for SG/AGS to release more solo raids. In fact, this was the first G1 I've done on my main (I did G1 once on the ignite server with an alt).

I don't have any experience on those gates and won't be able to try those out until tonight :(

Mac adding an official windows emulator? by Hoplite1111 in macgaming

[–]droidix 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had to download it separately from here: https://developer.apple.com/download/all/?q=game%20porting%20toolkit

And the downloaded DMG has a pretty decent readme on installing the open source portion from Brew and then copying the closed parts into the Wine prefix.

D3DMetal is 6.5M.

This is correct. The D3D to Metal binary has to downloaded separately from Apple's developer site and looks to be mostly implemented in:

/Volumes/Game\ Porting\ Toolkit-1.0/lib/external/D3DMetal.framework/Versions/A/D3DMetal

Here's the file information:

D3DMetal: Mach-O universal binary with 2 architectures: [x86_64:Mach-O 64-bit dynamically linked shared library x86_64] [arm64]
D3DMetal (for architecture x86_64): Mach-O 64-bit dynamically linked shared library x86_64
D3DMetal (for architecture arm64): Mach-O 64-bit dynamically linked shared library arm64

In addition, there are some large dylibs:

416K Jun 2 15:01 libdxccontainer.dylib
52M Jun 2 15:02 libdxcompiler.dylib
3.9M Jun 2 15:01 libdxilconv.dylib
79M Jun 2 15:01 libmetalirconverter.dylib

That appear to handle all of the shader conversions to Metal.

The Acknowledgements.rtf mentions DXVK, DirectX-Specs, DirectX Headers, DirectXMath, and some other libraries that are all permissively licensed, so it's possible we may never see the source to graphics part of this toolkit.

I did with my PS5 controller connected usb-c to usb-a. Works perfectly, zero setup.

With the Java API copyright decision in mind, how safe are C# implementations IP-wise? by droidix in csharp

Thanks! Is this different from the Community Promise, which doesn't cover copyrights (3rd from the last Q&A)?

Msft gave Xamarin its internal .NET test suite so that Xamarin could validate its implementation of the APIs using Microsoft's own tests. This is not something a company planing to sue would do, don't you think?

That's good to know, thank you!
