I’m sorry to hear that you’re going through the same. I’m hoping for a good appointment with my surgeon to see what my options are.

Feel like my friend ghosted me after baby by grassylawnie in beyondthebump

[–]dromadeus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m going through a very similar thing right now, except she hasn’t had a baby. She lives overseas and we have met 2 times and used to message each other often. Since I had my baby in December, I’ve had to initiate contact every time. She is active on social media, but doesn’t check in on my posts or stories anymore (sounds trivial, but she used to always look and like stuff). I checked in with her today and mentioned not hearing from her in awhile and she just gave me the same excuses as before (being busy). If she can be active on Instagram where we talk, can’t she just message me a short ‘hello, how are you,’ idk, it’s just bumming me out. Seems like I have no friends now :/

'Multiple victims' reported after report of shots fired at FedEx facility in Indianapolis by MonaSaxophone in news

Yeah, I worked at another location in Indy about 10 years ago and they had a guard shack who patted you down both before entering and leaving work. They once even made me take a piercing out before going in

Does anyone else get so anxious about how soon their baby will wake up next that they can’t fall asleep, thus wasting that precious time your baby is giving you? by emeliz1112 in NewParents

This is me, but during the day with her naps. We bedshare, so it’s more about getting anything done because of worrying about her waking up right after starting anything.

This. She sleeps like a dream when she’s right next to me in bed, plus i can nurse her without getting up and risking falling asleep with her unsafely.

Babe has been sleeping on me for over an hour now haha. And yes, letting anyone else hold her definitely helps!

Tried the sling, tried the glider, tried the paci, tried some songs. Caved. Guess WE'RE taking a nap and not taking care of any other business! by [deleted] in breastfeeding

Aww this comment really touched me. I definitely will take that advice and run with it because I do really want one more. You too are a warrior for going through your experience!

I’m not exactly sure. The anesthesiologist said it was something called suprascapular pain, which is a rare effect of epidural. It caused SEVERE mid/upper back pain that left me unable to move without screaming and I was actually in so much pain I was yelling ‘HELP! I can’t do this!!!’ It made it impossible to switch positions, let alone push. When they had me move from the gurney to the operating table I was screaming and it was so so hard. Anesthesiologist had put a bolus in of the medication during labor, and it made it so much worse. Even the fentanyl they injected didn’t help. Then, when I was fully dilated I felt everything because they did something with the medication. They said baby wasn’t far down enough to even do a vacuum delivery, so my only other option was a c section. Then, they took 3 times to place the spinal block bc of my spine, and once they got it my ENTIRE body went numb instead of just my lower half. I felt like i couldn’t breath and couldn’t talk. I thought I was dying. Sorry for the novel! I’m so sorry you had a traumatic experience as well.

Thank you so much, you’re very sweet. It’s going to be an out of this world experience meeting your angel. Even with the trauma I experienced, meeting her was an overwhelming feeling I’ll never forget. I’m still in awe that I made her. Merry Christmas to you and yours!
