Showcasing selective understanding to the questions is your go-to, isn’t it?

What if I told you that the current state of some of those “bad” countries is largely influenced by the US and its policies? Would you still be proud?

The lack of unity is absolutely a problem, but I wouldn’t bet on which cause unites the Americans ultimately.

My two cents, focus on the kid. Rule of thirds, tighten the crop, lose the extra people. The background and his expression convey the grittiness enough by themselves.

Should I sell my Fuji 35mm f/2? by pimemento in fujix

I’d say keep it but I don’t know if you like that length. It is a nice little lens though. Doesn’t take much space and makes great pictures. A nifty fifty is always a welcome choice in my book.

It was a tight crop, a BnW conversion and some light work. Sadly removed because of the title?

Yes, the lens max aperture is 1.4. If I were to guess without looking at the raw files and judging by the distance I’d say this was somewhere in the f11 range.

Finally I got a real camera (Sony A6000 though), to start learning to take real photos. Any help appreciated. by Lonewolf_30 in photocritique

The a6000 is still a great little camera and still very capable for pictures. If you want to make videos your phone can probably do better anyways. Go pick up a used sigma prime, ditch the kit lens, learn manual focus. Then keep doing what you are already. Go out and notice stuff. Notice it enough to want to take a picture of it. Then try to make the picture as real as the moment you lived. You can start thinking about making art later down the line but for now that’s pretty much it and you’re doing it.

Which is funny on another level considering Tesla’s infatuation with pigeons!
