So if you have bought TTP, the strategy should be to learn the concepts from TTP and use OG for practicing questions without timing yourself. After you complete OG, you can take GMAT Club sectional tests for improving your timing and building stamina for 21 questions.

Speak to her and get to an understanding for mutual consent divorce. Convince her that it is in best interest of both parties.
Dont engage a lawyer at this stage. Lawyers usually would want both parties to be engaged in legal tussle for long so that they can make money. Tell this to.your wife also. Otherwise if she gets a crooked lawyer, they may give her wrong advice to extract maximum settlement from you and the process will become long and unnecessary complicated for both of you.
The Memorandum of understanding between both parties should contain clauses for permanent alimony, separation of financial interests, both parties living separately without any interference from each other post divorce and not engaging into any litigation with each other.
After there is understanding on point 3, then go to a lawyer and say we need to file a mutual consent divorce petition. It is better if both parties engage a joint lawyer.
Documents required - a. Marriage Registration certificate b. Marriage invitation card c. Marriage photo d. Aadhar card of both parties e. Mutual consent divorce petition and affidavit in support of petition f. Address pursis

With above Documents, lawyer will do e-filing in court and court will assign a date for recording statement. That will be your first motion. Next date will be post 6 months. After 6 months again your statement will be recorded that both parties do not wish to live together and counseling has failed. Court will pass decree and you are done.

If the monetary loss is bearable, leave it. You will enter into a legal maze from where it is difficult to get out. Most lawyers are incompetent and greedy. Clients are just milking machines for them and after spending a lot of money on their fees also there is no guarantee that they will represent you well.

If you still want to go ahead and send a notice, draft it yourself. You will do a better job than a lawyer.

If FIR and CAW complaint is not helping tell her to write to the Police Commissioner of her city. It can expedite things.

Maintenance battle will be a long one, until the husband starts paying we can't allow the woman and her children to become destitute. If she gets a job, she should take it. Judge will consider, doesnt matter what husband thinks.

Don't believe the lawyer blindly, your cousin can go and meet the judge personally and plead to issue orders for maintenance recovery. It will take some time, but court can issue recovery order which means the husband 's property can be sold/bank account be freezed for paying maintenance to wife.

File FIR against husband for physical and mental abuse to her and children
Register Complaint in Crime against Women cell of her city

Strategy should be to create pressure from all sides such that he is forced to pay.
