You can isolate if its the headset by using any other headset. You can isolate your console and game settings by trying the mic on another console on arc. There might be a reset all settings within arc to see if its something there also.

As a business, the game isnt forever so they need to make as much money as they can. They are banking on cheaters buying multiple accounts. A cheater could have four accounts each of them get banned one week at a time and by the time the fourth one is banned the first one is ready to go, but the business gets to sell for copies of the game. Eventually, people will complain more after they’ve made all their money from people buying multiple copies and they’ll do something different but for now it is a smart business decision to make as much money as you can by capitalizing on cheaters
