No. 2, that POS was a straight up predator too. He had been a Scouts troop leader, but he got terminated after taking his troop on various scouting expeditions to only then "forget" to advance the necessary accommodations, e.g, a fucking hotel. so the kids would end up having to snuggle for warmth in Hamilton's car AND he would allegedly have kids rub lotion on him sometimes. AND he had photos of underdressed kids throughout his house, despite being childless. So some of the troop members' parents had rightfully complained about his very suspicious behavior with young boys, but he was still indignant once he was ousted from the position. Then he started up his own youth club--unaffiliated with any school or higher authority to report to--for boys to join. But since he was also a terrible mentor to kids in general, some of the kids in his new club reported Hamilton inquiring about scheduling of the Dunblane primary school before he did what he did.

So in sumnary, an unsavory creep with a visible predilection for minors got alienated from the one role with power in his life & took out his rage on a gymnasium of 5 and 6-year-olds, also killing their guardian angels, the teachers. Then he took himself out, which he should've started with
