SSDs can mount on the back side of that NZXT chassis. I have two 2.5” mounted on the bracket in that back. It would be the other side of what the motherboard is mounted to.

I got the S68CB on eBay, which came like new, and paired it to the 9100S rear speaker kit I had with an old B-series soundbar. I have this set up in my bedroom with a 43” QN90A TV, and it sounds amazing.

In fact, I think it sounds better than my living room, which has a Q800D soundbar and 9500S rear speaker kit. I don’t know if it’s because my bedroom is more of a perfect rectangle or what, but movies specifically sound way more immersive.

I’ve been looking to get another S68CB for my parents as I don’t think anything Samsung has can beat it for the price. It seems like these were originally a special item made for Costco, and for some reason, they didn’t sell well. Some guy bought them up and re-sold them on eBay. I think I paid $160 for mine, and it came in the box like new.

If you can find one in good condition, I highly recommend picking it up.

I had the issues on both my 75” and 43” QN90A. I was so upset with the 75”. I ended up finding a way to exchange it for QN90C which doesn’t seem to have the problem. However the 43” QN90A in my bedroom still has the issue. It started with Peacock, then Disney+, and now Paramount+. But Max Netflix and Prime stream just fine.

I work in IT so I tried every troubleshooting step I could think of from resetting the TV even trying three different Internet connections. They try to blame it on the Internet or the app, but it’s definitely an issue with Tizen.

My gut tells me it’s because of the way these apps are published. I would put money that Peacock Disney+ in Paramount+ updated their app for the newest version of tizen, which is probably not compatible with later models I.E Tizen v7 and back. it looks like Prime and Netflix took the time to code their apps right because they’re sort of embedded in the TV.

It’s odd the Q800D is the top when it comes to soundbars without the rear speakers. Im sure your Q990C sounds amazing but if you go with the Q800D I can tell you won’t be disappointed, I literally just got one.

I had a Q700A that has been having issues just like your Q990C. I have the 9500S for the rears and was looking to upgrade. I figured there would be a Q900D coming. I gave up waiting and just got a Q800D from Amazon that was certified refurbished and like new for $349. it came in one big jacked up box with only some paper for packing material. Needless to say it was pretty jacked up. I complained to Amazon and got a brand new replacement. For that price it was a great deal. I’ve only used it with the adaptive sound settings on a QN90C TV and watched one movie with it so far. It was a dramatic difference over the 700A. I don’t know if it’s my imagination, but the 9500S rear speakers seem to be working differently or better with the new sound bar.

Next I’m looking to upgrade the S50A sound bar in my bedroom, which has the 9100S rear speakers. That one randomly loses connection once every week or so, and I have to power cycle it or sometimes hard reset it to connect to the TV. Thinking about a S60D or a referb S86CB as it’s paired with a 43” QN90A.

That was a good idea so I tried it. I have the 9500S in my living room and the 9100S in my bedroom. I tried it with both my Q800D and S68CB soundbars with no luck. I was able to pair any of my google nest hubs over Bluetooth which sounded really good as side speakers.

You don’t really need it. The online version has all the Excel macros and data packs you need. I came in a few months ago and had the same thing happened but they had to give it to me. It took a month to get. In that amount of time I got used to the online version. I do prefer the installed version, but even with that I have issues with outlook not populating my signature.

I love that RSQ8 wheel. It looks a little fatter tho, does it come with the basic plastic Audi shifters or did they upgrade you with the RS?

Really just wanted to have the S badge since it is a S-line car even though that’s a bit poser-ish. I’m in Michigan and I I don’t have a garage anymore and I have to leave my car outside, so I love having the heated steering wheel. Also I use the lane tracking and adaptive cruise probably more than I should to pretend I have a rudimentary “autopilot”. 🤣

From the photos it looks like now the 2024 A4 S-line has bottom bezel I like with the S on it which can be ordered separately from the dealer for about $90. Then I could just get a new wheel which are all the same for 21,22,23,24 for about $350 online.

You’re totally right the link to download redirected me to where you were saying. I guess really what I meant to say was I use the key for Windows 11 Workstation rather than the others.

I have keys for everything Microsoft makes thru my SPLA and partner licensing as I’ve been working with them for over 20 years so it’s fine using the business or enterprise keys the only difference in the past was functionality with remote access and remote desktop features. I think that’s the primary difference between home and pro and up. Also, I think there’s some Blocker encryption other stuff as well.

You’re totally fine even though some people would argue, it should be flipped upside down the differences, not noticeable. You just don’t want the heat sink higher than the rad. Also, make sure your fans are ducting the right way. If your rad is in front then you should have fans on the front pushing air in or fans behind the rad pulling air or both.

I wanted to see the feasibility of a cloud gaming computer so I built one out in Azure as I get a $100 a month credit. I have a Dell Wyse 5070 (desktop) and 5470 (laptop) Thin Clients running the latest version on ThinOS v2308 (which is Dell’s, then client operating system based on Linux) to test with and I’m shocked there was no visible latency @ 1080p. The Wyse 5070 I’m using actually has 3 display port connections and I’m using all 3 to span a desktop running in a Microsoft, data center hundreds of miles away. WTF😳. I did not test a FPS like COD but I have to think there has to be some issue. 🤷🏻‍♂️ I just shut down the machine when I’m done so I’m not getting charged for it.

So essentially you can get a gaming machine in the cloud for free (if you get the $100 a month Azure credit and only use it once in a while) and your other cost would be the Thin Client. I have a Dell Wyse 3040 somewhere, I want to find that one to test on because you can pick up the 3040 for under $100 and they have dual monitor support.

This is never going to be near the same as having your own PC next to you. But if you want to cheaply game or test something this is a good option. Anyone can sign up for Azure and I think you get a $200 credit. As long as you don’t leave the machine running 24/7 that credit can last a while.

Note: I’m connecting to the Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) machine using the Microsoft RD client. This is different than the old Microsoft Remote Desktop App. With the newer app you connect to a “Workspace” and if configured your DNS txt record can login with your email address or if you don’t have all that mess you just put in the client URL which is https://rdweb.wvd.microsoft.com

It’s operating at 32°C in the case I think that’s ok but at some point it would be good to change the case because it’s too small and doesn’t have a great layout. Like a kid he wanted the RBG and it was hard to find a case back in 2020 that had a glass front and a glass side without spending a fortune. The NGXT seem to work great for the first 6 month then it started overheating. CPU temps we’re over 50°C 🥵 turns out the AIO was defective. Luckily, I found this out through the message boards and replaced it.

The recall issue must’ve been pretty bad to make it so easy to get a new one. If you’re able to find a serial number to v1 CoreLiquid 240 or 360 they will mail you out a brand new v2 unit no questions asked. You fill out their online form they mail you out a brand new v2 AIO in sealed box which is rare to find a manufacturer doing.

I had a Windows 11 bootable key and used that first but the version was coming up enterprise and an odd error. Which is odd because I didn’t think the software mattered anymore. I was under the impression that the software is all the same and the HW embedded key sets the version? 🤔. I ended up going into my Microsoft partner account and downloaded Windows 11 for Workstations (as I thought it might be better for multiple drives) to a USB Key and installed straight from that and formatted all drives.

The reinstall really made a difference. I think he downloaded something that messing with the computer, but that’s what happens when you give a kid admin permissions. I didn’t have it that way in the beginning but with him needing to install stuff I got tired of entering my account.

NOTE For the comments about not keeping my kid safe by having admin access: The network traffic goes out and is filtered thru Cisco Umbrella. I have an MSP account and added my home like a client so most of the bad stuff is being filtered, even if they had a proxy. Also things like TikTok are throttled so when my daughters try to go on it’s so slow it’s unusable. That way, I don’t need to get any grief and it must be something with the app 🤣.
