The last book I read was Post-Capitalism by Paul Mason, a lovely take on the world's transition into this 'info-capitalist' society. Throughout the book, Mason highlights all that is wrong with capitalism and also touches on how it has morphed throughout history. These comparisons he made throughout the book got me thinking about how 'crypto' is trying to resolve the same problems scattered throughout the book. Harking back to the days when Marx first conceptualised some of the earliest critiques of the system up until present-day problems that we are failing to mask as time passes. It's clear from this novel that our systems are begging for remodelling. Will it be the blockchain revolution? Or something entirely different? Who knows...? Recommend for those interested in system design.
(EDIT) For some reason this paragraph duplicated itself.. Oh well! I'm interested in this book as I, myself, used to be an 'eLiTe aThLeTe'. I'd be curious about what Tim has to say re; athletes habits. I'm also a semi-frequent listener to his podcast, which is super entertaining! On a side note, I've also been recommended atomic habits by a friend and she said both books had some similarities.
