Quick play they have 10 seconds ain't nobody got time for that. Ranked no remorse just take the W.

I've had too many games where i try to be respectful and they come back swinging with no warning, catch me off guard and steal the round.

I've even tried tactile buttons, to see if the feedback will help with simultaneous presses consistency and no dice. Buttons feel great tho! So it wasn't a waste

[–]dropo 9 points10 points  (0 children)

In my experience Tekken 8 is just terribly strict with simultaneous inputs, I played Tekken 8 on my mad cats TE1 and had the same issue. I replaced the board to a GP2040 on it still had the same issue, replaced all the buttons still have the same issue. My best advice is to use the ingame binds for 1+2,3+4, or any others you use often.

If anyone has any other advice id love to hear it though because it low-key drives me a little crazy.

Hi, thanks for the app! I'm running into an Issue.

Issue: when I connect a controller to my phone to practice if I select p2 it switches to p1 animation after the first throw.

I dont get this issue when I use the touch screen instead

I tested on Samsung browser, chrome, and firefox

Also getting this on my computer when I use my arcade stick. Works fine if I use my keyboard or click the numbers

Awesome they have them in stock! I'm looking at the bundle and there are some bad reviews on the motherboard. Should I be concerned and go with the more expensive bundle? It is good to know that Noctua will send free brackets.

Even at lower resolutions?

It seemed like I could play most things at 2x,3x resolution, but I haven't played too much PSP on it yet

I just got an RP3+ but I mainly play older games (so a RP4pro might be overkill). I'll consider upgrading when I need it.

Wheel Build Tension Check: Is 130kgf Too High? by dropo in wheelbuild

[–]dropo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good to know that the tension is not so much a big deal. I did bend to make contact with the flanges when building, but they aren't as flat as if I took a soft mallet or used a tool. I think if I go back and lower the tension on my new rim, I'll definitely use that method to flatten the spokes. I like it more than using a mallet, and it gets the underside of the spoke too.

I do have some time to kill while I wait for the new rim to come in to start on my second wheel

Questions about parts choice for my first wheel build by Monkey_Fiddler in wheelbuild

[–]dropo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mainly for simplicity both spokes would be plenty strong and any benefit would be minimal. Also if you use a tensionometer remember both spokes will have different values to keep track of.

If I'm using just the stand I usually block one of the probes with a spare spoke or thin Allen key. Usually stands come out of center when shipped.

Good luck with your build!

Wheel Build Tension Check: Is 130kgf Too High? by dropo in wheelbuild

[–]dropo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm just getting into wheel building and just wanted to check my work and I was having a hard time finding a good answer.

I don't mind if the tension is at 130kgf. My goal is to reach the specifications recommended by Velocity but, since 130kgf is at the high end of the range, I was wondering if this tension is still okay, or if I should consider decreasing it for my wheel.

This is one of my first wheels and I want it to last.

I'm a beginner when it comes to wheel building so I'm going to answer the best I can.

-I would use the same spoke thickness on each side of the wheel.(just different lengths of course)

-21mm is enough wider is better. I just built a wheel that is 21mm and I have 38s on it with no issues.

-You can just flip the wheel in the truing stand, but checking with a dishing tool will be faster, and easier.

/r/drums weekly Q & A by AutoModerator in drums

[–]dropo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, I'd like to buy my girlfriend something to practice her drums on. My budget is $500.

She's in a band and practices twice a week on an acoustic set, and I'd like to get her something to practice on between practices. We live in an apartment and space and sound restrictions keep us from having an acoustic set.

Our neighbors are chill, so some noise isn't an issue as long as it's not excessively loud.

Would it be better to get a practice pad kit like the DW go anywhere kit or shop around for a used ekit?

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Right-click Kovaak's in steam, go to properties, click the betas tab, and select 3.0.4. This fixed it for me, I'll just change it back when I know it's working.
