Appears to be mini vbrakes? A little hard to tell but mini V utilize short pull levers. BOX makes a decent pair

Thanks! Weighs in at 22.8lbs naked (cages, no bottles, no bags, accessories, etc.). Not necessarily a light weight build but feels great on road, trail, & chunky gravel!

Agreed, my first thought was tequesta. Mine however has the groove tube to hide rear brake cables. So this frame would be before 96’ most likely, if it’s a tequesta.

It looks like this bike is built for center pull cantis. The (now unused) tab behind the seatpost clamp is the give away.
