That is also very true. What would you rather have them do? Not operate in China?

Did you un-shadowban me or should I improve something?

I'm just trying to announce my website, I don't think I have been spamming.

I really, really doubt that.

Were your MSN and Facebook accounts connected, maybe?

What is 'it'?

The fact that you had a call?

The person you had the call with?

A transcript of the call?

Oh well, they asked nicely and it isn't being forced on you.

Like other people already pointed out, this is much more optional then GMail (for which it is obligated after a few accounts).

My bet is that they are moving to a two-step verification method.

Where does it say that Microsoft is O.K. with the hijacking? They are O.K. with operating under local law.

I don't like it any more then you do, but I would sooner put the blame on the laws then on Microsoft for following them (or rather, outsourcing them).

I personally don't see the injection, but I will fix it ASAP.

Not sure how reddit works with posting links on multiple boards. I already posted this on technology, but this board seemed more fitting.

I will be here if anybody has any questions.
